Research purposes: This study takes the influence of functional training on high school basketball players' foot movement ability as the research object, taking 16 students in the Affiliated Middle School of Shandong Institute of physical education as the experimental object,to verify whether the functional training method and the traditional foot training method have a positive effect on the basketball players' foot movement ability, and verify that the functional foot training can improve the basketball players' foot movement ability Whether the strength is better than the traditional footwork training. Methods: the subjects were randomly divided into the experimental group and the control group, and the training contents and test indexes were determined by using the methods of literature review, interview and questionnaire survey. After 8 weeks of functional foot training and traditional foot training, the test indexes of the two groups were tested and recorded, and the data were statistically analyzed. Results: eight weeks after the experiment, the test results of the experimental group and the control group were improved.(1)T-type test run: there was significant difference between the test results before and after the experiment in the experimental group(P < 0.05),but there was no significant difference in the test results before and after the experiment in the control group(P > 0.05),and there was a significant difference between the experimental group and the control group after the experiment(P < 0.05).(2)There was significant difference between the test results before and after the experiment in the experimental group(P < 0.05),but there was no significant difference in the test results before and after the experiment in the control group(P > 0.05),and there was a significant difference between the test results of the experimental group and the control group after the experiment(P < 0.05).(3)There was significant difference between the test results before and after the experiment in the experimental group(P < 0.05),and the test results before and after the experiment in the control group had significant difference(P < 0.05),and the test results of the experimental group and the control group had significant difference after the experiment(P< 0.05).(4)There was significant difference between the test results of the experimental group before and after the experiment(P < 0.05),but there was no significant difference between the control group before and after the experiment(P > 0.05),and there was a significant difference between the experimental group and the control group after the experiment(P <0.05).(5)There was significant difference between the test results of the experimental group before and after the experiment(P < 0.05),but there was no significant difference between the control group before and after the experiment(P > 0.05),and there was a significant difference between the experimental group and the control group after the experiment(P <0.05).Conclusion:(1)functional footwork training can significantly improve the footwork ability of basketball players, and has a good training effect on basketball players' ability of changing direction, coordination and body control.(2)The traditional footwork training can significantly improve the performance of T-type test run,can significantly improve the basketball players' ability to change direction, but has no significant effect on the improvement of other index test results, and has no significant effect on improving basketball players' ability of changing movement and coordination.(3)The reasonable functional training of teenagers can better improve their special footwork speed and promote the development of their own basketball technical level and physical quality.
