The Art Curriculum Standards for Compulsory Education(2011 Edition)divides the art curriculum into four learning areas,namely "modeling · expression","design · application","appreciation · comment" and "synthesis · exploration",according to the way of fine arts learning activities.Among them,the "synthesis · exploration" learning field made the following part of the description: "to guide students to actively explore the art and other disciplines,art and social life combined methods,to carry out interdisciplinary learning activities." Therefore,it can be seen that interdisciplinary teaching is a development trend,especially in recent years,the STEAM education concept from the United States are influencing the development of education and teaching in China.Its concept of "student-centered" and its practice of subject-project exploration provide an effective way for China to address the needs of students in the improvement of core competencies and development of key competencies.This paper mainly adopts the method of action research,supplemented by literature research,interview,classroom observation and other research methods.This paper chooses S Primary School in D District,L City as the research object,and carries out an action research on the curriculum implementation in the field of "synthesis · exploration" of fine arts in primary schools based on the concept of Steam education.In this study,aiming at the problems such as short class hours,too much design of class hours and too many class members during the first round of curriculum implementation,some adjustments and improvements are made in the second round of teaching practice: appropriate extension of class hours,cutting unnecessary content of class hours,reducing the number of students,class teaching and so on.Through the development and implementation of this course,it is found that students have been improved in language expression ability,practical ability and learning interest in other subjects.On this basis,the experience in curriculum implementation is summarized and reflected,and suggestions for curriculum implementation are put forward,in order to explore how to permeate STEAM education concept into the field of "synthesis · exploration" of primary school art,so as to better realize the interdisciplinary integration of primary school art.
