In recent years,the emergence of new terms such as "STEAM education" and "STEAM concept" has set off a research boom in the education circle,and numerous cases have been introduced into school education."How to effectively integrate STEAM education into the teaching of various subjects?" This has been the deep thinking problem of many educational scholars.Therefore,it is a key task to find ways and methods of STEAM education suitable for China's school education system.Starting from the perspectives of Dewey's theory of "learning by doing",the theory of multiple intelligences and the theory of constructivism,and based on combing through STEAM education-related course cases and documents,this study fully understands the current research status of STEAM education at home and abroad and deeply explores the intrinsic essence of STEAM education.This paper demonstrates the internal relationship between STEAM education and the "comprehensive exploration" learning field of Chinese primary art,and explores the ways and methods of STEAM education that are suitable for the curriculum and teaching in the "comprehensive exploration" learning field of Chinese primary art.First of all,starting from the cognition of the core concepts,through the interpretation of the concepts in the field of STEAM and "synthesis and exploration",the theoretical support of this study is analyzed,so as to lay a foundation for the orderly development of teaching practice activities in the later stage.Secondly,the questionnaire survey was used to conduct a statistical analysis on the current teaching situation of primary school art classes,and it was concluded that there was a need to improve the ability of teachers to use modern teaching technology in the field of "comprehensive exploration" of primary school art learning.The teaching environment and situational teaching fail to be implemented effectively;The presupposition of teaching is strong and the generative nature of teaching is ignored.Lack of creative thinking training;The teaching content is lack of effective integration and other problems,and through the interview of teachers to analyze and explore.Indicate the STEAM in the end,the emphasis is on education in the elementary school fine arts "integrated,exploring" development direction in the field of study,based on STEAM horizon,the elementary school fine arts "integrated,exploring" learning in the field of curriculum design,and on the basis of the development and implementation of project learning activities,and teaching activities of the project to carry on the summary and reflection.
