A prominent feature of the revision of the ideological and political curriculum standard for ordinary senior high schools in 2020 is that the subject quality is taken as the basis.The research and determination of discipline quality conforms to the general trend of the international research on core quality.As an activity course teaching activity to cultivate students' core quality,debate activity can stimulate students' learning enthusiasm,enhance students' cooperative learning ability and critical thinking ability,and promote students' subjective development.The application of research debate in high school ideological and political class not only conforms to the characteristics of high school ideological and political discipline,but also conforms to the development trend of new curriculum reform.The application of debate activities in high school ideological and political classes can well avoid problems such as solidified content,rigid form and single path in teaching,and is an important carrier to effectively realize the educational goal of combining knowledge and action.This paper is divided into four parts: The first part of the research background and research significance,research status and evaluation at home and abroad,research methods,innovation are elaborated.The second part is a theoretical overview of high school ideological and political classroom debate activities through literature review.The content includes the definition of debate activity,classroom debate activity and high school ideological and political classroom debate activity;The characteristics and application value of high school ideological and political classroom debate activities,as well as the theoretical basis.The third part uses the questionnaire survey method and interview method to discuss the problems existing in the application of debate activity in high school ideological and political class and analyze the reasons for the high school students and high school front-line teachers as the interviewes.The fourth part is the focus of this research.Combined with the teaching practice,the author puts forward the application strategies of the ideological and political classroom debate activities in high school: making good preparation before the classroom debate activities,strengthening the control and guidance during the classroom debate,paying attention to the evaluation and reflection after the classroom debate,and accumulation of debate resources.These strategies can provide reference for front-line teachers when carrying out classroom debate activities,and improve the course of Ideology and Politics in high school.
