Once upon a time, Ideology and politics course was so boring that it was difficult to teach and students didn't like it. In the final analysis, Ideology and politics course is far away from students' life world, so that students can't feel the value of being and the meaning of life. So it is imperative that the construction of "life class" of Ideology and politics course which is close to the reality, life and students. The "life class" will make the class full of vitality.This paper is based on students' realistic life and focus on their possible life. After surveying Ideology and politics class in the high level of improving students' meaning of life and value of being, the author put forward re-constructing Ideology and politics class.He wants to make Ideology and politics class full of vitality and become students' and teachers' poetic dwelling.In addition to the introduction, this paper is divided into four parts:Partâ… : outlining "life class" of High School Ideology and politics discipline.This paper defines the term "life class" from the broad definition.Then it sets forth the basic characteristics of "life class", which is: the goal of teaching based on the life, the content of teaching reflecting life, methods of teaching close to life and the subject of teaching entering life.Partâ…¡: academic basis of construction of "life class" of the Ideology and politics discipline. In this paper, the author introduces the "life world" theory, Dewey's theory of life education, Tao Xingzhi's thought of life education, Guo Yuanxiang's "new life education" concept, which provide a theoretical support to the establishment of "life class" of Ideological and politics discipline.Partâ…¢: the necessity and importance of establishment of "life class" of Ideological and politics discipline. The author has a profound reflection on its traditional class. Then he expounds the need of building "life class" of Ideology and politics discipline from it as a moral education course and the requirements of the new curriculum reform. At the same time, constitution of "life class"is of great significance. It makes for stimulating students' interest in learning, raising the effectiveness of teaching, training students in the spirit of innovation and the ability to innovate. What's more, it's in favor of improving students'ability to participation in social life and to practice, promoting the socialization of students.Partâ…£: the strategy of construction of "life class" of Ideology and politics discipline. The author puts forward many macro-and micro-strategies on the basis of his teaching practice. Macro-strategies are: firstly, updating the concepts of education; secondly, the establishment of an equal, democratic and harmonious relations between teachers and students. Micro strategies are: the first, the design of the goals of teaching based on students' realistic life and possible life; the second, the full development of curriculum resources to make the class full of flavor of life; the third, the reform of teaching methods and means to make the contents close to students' life; the fourth, the reform of the contents and the ways of evaluation to make them more conducive to the construction of students' possible life; the fifth, the establishment of "large life class" of Ideology and politics from the expansion of learning space.
