The Group Work Is Involved In The Research On Cultural Old-age Care For The Elderly In Urban Communities

With the development of social economy and population aging,the elderly in urban communities have increasingly prominent spiritual and cultural needs such as leisure and entertainment,social communication,and self-realization when their material needs have been met.So how to meet their needs? Demand has become an urgent and severe issue facing China.In this context,cultural old-age care came into being,and it has become one of the important contents of modern society to improve the quality of life of the elderly and solve the problem of old-age care.But on the other hand,in the actual operation of urban community cultural pension,due to the influence of individual,community,society and country factors,there are also insufficient awareness of the elderly,low level of participation,narrow access to activity information,and level of participation in cultural activities.Low levels,lack of community service resources,and deviations in the supply and demand of services.Therefore,how to take scientific methods to remedy the shortcomings and solve the existing problems has become an inevitable requirement for cultural pensions to be actually "landed" from the "policy level".This study takes the elderly in the Z community in Qingdao as the research object,and analyzes the process,function and effect of the intervention of group work in cultural elderly care.Firstly,it examines and analyzes the needs of the elderly in the community,the performance and reasons of the cultural pension difficulties they face;secondly,guided by activity theory,superior perspective theory and social support theory,the theme of "Yi Cai Nian Hua" is carried out.After the seven group activities,the group members were evaluated quantitatively and qualitatively through scale tests and feedback from the group members' subjective feelings.The results found that group work can effectively alleviate the community's elderly cultural pension difficulties and fill the gap in spiritual and cultural life.It can be seen that this working method has certain advantages in dealing with this problem.Of course,the work practice of this group also exposed some shortcomings.In response to these shortcomings,the workers summarized through reflection and put forward suggestions for comprehensively using social work methods,maintaining cultural sensitivity in the intervention process,linking multiple resources,and comprehensively intervening in multiple fields.Further promote relevant research to help the elderly in urban communities to establish and practice new cultural concepts for the elderly,and to make the elderly enjoy the old,thereby improving the quality of life and enjoying a rich and colorful old age.
