A Practical Study On Social Work’s Involvement In The "Cultural Endowment" Of Urban Community Residents

With the continuous development of economy and society,the living standard has been greatly improved.After the material life of the elderly is satisfied,the pursuit of spiritual level of cultural pension needs has become a trend.Traditional family pension has some disadvantages in emotion,cultural entertainment,respect and social interaction,which can not meet the strong demand of the elderly for cultural pension.Social work,as a professional help method,plays an important and positive role in the intervention of urban community cultural endowment.It can not only meet the needs of urban community elderly cultural endowment,but also improve the existing urban community cultural endowment system,to some extent,it can make an important supplement for urban community cultural endowment service.At present,the rapid growth of the number of the elderly indicates that China has entered the stage of "rapid aging".With the continuous development of economy and society,the living standard has been greatly improved.After the material life of the elderly is satisfied,the pursuit of spiritual level of cultural pension needs has become a trend.Traditional family pension has some disadvantages in emotion,cultural entertainment,respect and social interaction,which can not meet the strong demand of the elderly for cultural pension.Social work,as a professional way to help people,has a unique advantage in urban community cultural endowment.It can not only meet the needs of urban community elderly cultural pension,but also improve and supplement the existing urban community pension system,and make up for the defects of the simplification of urban community pension service.To a certain extent,it plays a positive role in improving the urban community cultural pension,and makes an important supplement for the urban community cultural pension service.In this paper,the elderly in X community of Tongchuan City are taken as the research object.Firstly,the theory of demand hierarchy,active aging and social support are used as theoretical support.Secondly,it analyzes the current situation and existing problems of cultural endowment in X community of Tongchuan City by using the method of field investigation.On the one hand,it qualitatively summarizes the characteristics of the elderly in X community and the characteristics of cultural pension demand.On the other hand,it uses the binary logistic model to quantitatively analyze the influencing factors of cultural pension demand of the elderly in X community,which plays a guiding role in the following social work intervention.Thirdly,based on the above research results of X community cultural elderly care needs analysis,according to the elderly groups with different needs,respectively select group work and community work methods to intervene in community cultural elderly care services.Finally,the paper puts forward the reflection and suggestions of social work involved in cultural endowment service.It is found that the elderly in X community of Tongchuan City have an urgent need for cultural endowment,which is reflected in the need for intellectual stimulation,aesthetic appreciation,familiarity and self realization.There are some problems in X community,such as the single service content,the neglect of demand difference,the insufficient propaganda and education of cultural endowment,and the lag of software and hardware.Based on the above,this paper uses group work and community activities to participate in X community cultural elderly care services.After the intervention,the cultural needs of the elderly in X community have been improved,and the performance satisfaction of activities and community personnel is also high,indicating that social work intervention has achieved good results.At the same time,in the future,we should further strengthen community publicity,increase the importance of cultural pension,establish an information platform,fully understand the cultural pension needs of the elderly,improve professional ability,enhance the sense of identity for social work,gather external resources,optimize the community cultural pension environment,and provide reference for the practical research of social work involving in urban community cultural pension.
