Chinese students in Malaysian have limited ability to master Chinese,often transfer the spoken language to the category of written language,so that the use of words often appear.Chinese students often face difficulties in choosing their vocabulary,and in addition to being influenced by the Chinese language itself,they are also influenced by Malay and English.Because the grammar points vary from language to language,it is easy to cause the lexical errors.Through the results of the study,the standard five Chinese students of SJK(C)Chung Cheng Sitiawan Perak in the lexical application,caused by the error of the top three words are: Class A: “so”,“take” and “look”;Class B: “give”,“out”and “play”;Class C: “play”,“game” and “death not dead”.The reasons for the lexical errors by Chinese students in these three classes can be summed up in seven categories:the problems of the National Education Policy and the Standards for Primary School Curriculum and Assessment,the misleading and inadequate teaching materials and tool books,the interference of the learner's social environment,the negative migration of the destination language,the negative migration of the mother tongue,the influence of teachers and the personal factors of the learner.In order to help students solve the problem of lexical errors,this paper draws up corresponding coping strategies according to the situation of lexical errors,that is,to increase the research of lexical errors,to make suggestions for the improvement of Malaysian Education Policy and Primary School Curriculum and Evaluation Standards,to improve the quality of teaching materials and tool books,teachers' self-improvement and coping patterns,learner autonomy learning and to promote the use of standard Chinese lexical.
