ObjectiveBased on the physical health test of college students,this paper analyzes their Healthrelated fitness status and provides the basis for the intervention of 24-Style Taijiquan in college students' Health-related fitness.To further observe the influence of 24-Style Taijiquan on exercise on Health-related fitness and related biochemical indexes of college students,and to provide effective exercise intervention program for promote sub-health college students.MethodsThe first part:Investigated the current situation of college students' Health-related fitness.A total of 2331 undergraduates of Guangzhou University of Traditional Chinese Medicine(138 of them have been excluded from the physical education major)in 2019 were selected,351 of whom were randomly selected as the survey objects according to the random number table method.After a week of peaceful life,the relevant indicators of physical health test were measured according to the Interpretation of National Students' Physical health Standards of china.Physical test total score and evaluation criteria of test items included:?Body composition:BMI,?Cardiopulmonary fitness:lung capacity,?Muscle fitness and flexibility:50m,standing long jump,pull-up(male),sit-up(female),1000m(male),800m(female),sitting forward bend.Evaluation criteria:Excellent>85 points,85>good? 75,75>pass?60,fail<60.The students with excellent total score in physical test were shown as healthy population,while those with good,pass and fail scores were shown as sub-healthy population.Further,Correlation analysis and multiple correspondence analysis were performed.The second part:the intervention research of 24-Style Taijiquan on college students' Health-related fitness.A total of 351 people randomly enrolled in the first part were screened according to inclusion and exclusion criteria,and 100 were eventually admitted to the trial.Using random grouping,the subjects were randomly divided into control group(n=33),jogging group(n=33)and 24-Style Taijiquan group(n=34).Before exercise intervention,the control group lived peacefully for one week according to the school schedule,and did not participate in additional physical exercise.24-Style Taijiquan group received 24-Style Taijiquan exercise of 40min 3 times a week for 12 weeks(including 6 sets of movements,1 min between each set),10min for preparation and relaxation,from 17:00 to 18:00 on Wednesday,Friday and Sunday,respectively,The jogging group performed continuous jogging exercise for 40min at a speed of 6km-9km each time,10min of preparation and relaxation exercise,respectively,from 17:00 to 18:00 on Wednesday,Friday and Sunday.The Health-related fitness and related blood biochemical indexes of this batch of undergraduates before and after exercise intervention were tested,including body composition,cardiopulmonary fitness,muscle fitness,flexibility,blood routine and lipid related indexes.Body composition was tested by body mass Index(BMI)and body fat rate,lung capacity and Maximal oxygen consumption(VO2max)were tested for cardiopulmonary fitness,grip strength and standing long jump for muscle fitness,and sitting forward for flexibility.Blood routine related indicators:red blood cell count(RBC),hemoglobin(Hb),platelet count(PLT),white blood cell count(WBC),Lipid related indicators:Triglyceride(TG),total cholesterol(TC),high density lipoprotein-cholesterol(HDL-CH),low density lipoprotein cholesterol(LDL-CH).ResultsThe first part:Current situation of college students' Health-related fitness.1.The physical test distribution of the surveyed college students:The total score distribution of physical test passed(52.4%)>good(27.1%)>failed(10.5%)>excellent(10.0%).The sub-health population of college students accounted for 90%of the total number of students investigated In terms of failing the physical test,pull-up(71.2 percent),seated flexion(21.7 percent),BMI(8.3 percent),standing long jump(7.7 percent),and situps(5.9 percent)were found to have failed.2.Correlation analysis showed that,There was a negative correlation between gender,sitting flexion,standing long jump,vital capacity and health grade(P<0.01).BMI,endurance running and 50m were positively correlated with health grade(P<0.01).Logistic regression analysis of college students' health dichotomies(health and sub-health)and national physical health test showed that,The lower the score of sitting forward bend and standing long jump is,the higher the risk of sub-health is(P<0.01).3.Multiple correspondence analysis showed that failure in physical test total score was closely related to underweight,overweight,and failure in standing long jump,endurance running,50m,and lung capacity.The distance between the failed endurance race and other points is far,the majority of the test items in quadrant 1 and 2 are passed and failed,and the total score of the physical test is passed and failed in quadrant 2.The second part:The intervention study of 24-Style Taijiquan on college students'Health-related fitness.1.At baseline,there were no significant differences in age,gender and major among the three groups(P>0.05),indicating comparability.2.Health-related fitness(1)Body composition:?The BMI of the 24-Style Taijiquan group and the jogging group decreased after intervention compared with before intervention(P<0.01).The BMI of the jogging group was lower than that of the control group(P<0.01),and the BMI of the 24Style Taijiquan group was higher than that of the jogging group(P<0.05).?The body fat percentage of the 24-Style Taijiquan group and the jogging group was lower after intervention than before(P<0.01).The body fat percentage of jogging group was lower than that of control group(P<0.01).(2)Cardiopulmonary fitness:?Lung capacity in the three groups increased after intervention compared with before intervention(P<0.01).?The VO2max of the 24StyleTaijiquan group and the jogging group was increased before and after the comparison(P<0.01),and the VO2max of the jogging group was increased compared with the control group(P<0.05).(3)Muscle fitness:after intervention,the standing long jump in the 24-Style Taijiquan group was significantly improved compared with before intervention(P<0.01).(4)The flexibility of the 24-Style Taijiquan group was higher after the intervention than before(P<0.01).Compared with the control group,the 24-Style Taijiquan group increased(P<0.05),and the 24-Style Taijiquan group increased(P<0.01)compared with the jogging group.3.Biochemical indicators(1)Blood routine related indicators,?RBC,intra-group comparison,24-Style Taijiquan group and jogging group after intervention compared with before intervention RBC increased(P<0.01),inter-group comparison,24-Style Taijiquan group compared with control group increased(P<0.05),jogging group compared with control group increased(P<0.05).?The WBC in the 24-Style Taijiquan group and the jogging group was lower after intervention than before(P<0.01),and the jogging group was lower than the control group(P<0.01).(2)Compared with the control group,TG in the 24-Style Taijiquan group and the jogging group decreased after intervention(P<0.01).Compared with the control group,TG in the 24-Style Taijiquan group decreased(P<0.01),and that in the jogging group decreased(P<0.01).?TC in the jogging group was lower after intervention than before(P<0.01).TC in the jogging group was lower than that in the control group(P<0.01).?HDL-CH in the 24-Style Taijiquan group and the jogging group increased after intervention compared with before intervention(P<0.01),and the 24-Style Taijiquan group increased compared with the control group(P<0.01),and the jogging group increased compared with the control group(P<0.01).?LDL-CH,the LDL-CH of the 24-Style Taijiquan group and the jogging group was lower after intervention than before(P<0.01),and the jogging group was lower than the control group(P<0.05).ConclusionThe first part:Current situation of college students' Health-related fitness.The survey found that sub-health population accounted for a high proportion of college students,boys' upper body strength was very weak,and girls' waist and abdomen strength needed to be strengthened.Low flexibility,poor body shape and weak explosive power of lower limbs were common problems among college students.The gender,sitting forward,standing long jump,vital capacity,BMI,endurance running,50 meters and health grade of college students are significantly correlated.The lower the sitting forward and standing long jump scores are,the higher the risk of college students being sub-healthy.Underweight,overweight,failed standing long jump,failed endurance running,passed 50 meters,passed lung capacity,Chinese medicine and total body test failure had a strong correlation.It is suggested that the students who fail the physical test should pay attention to the management of their body shape and strengthen the exercises of upper body strength,core strength and flexibility.The second part:The intervention study of 24-Style Taijiquan on college students'Health-related fitness.The results showed that 24-Style Taijiquan exercise for 12 weeks could increase the amplitude of forward flexion of the sitting body of college students,and it was obviously better than jogging group and control group.It also lowered BMI,similar to jogging,but significantly better than the control group.24-Style Taijiquan improves standing long jump obviously,and the 24-Style Taijiquan can improve the RBC and HDL-CH levels in blood,the effect is similar to jogging,which is significantly better than the control group,24-Style Taijiquan can reduce the content of TG in blood,and the effect is similar to jogging,which is obviously better than the control group.In addition,compared with jogging,24-Style Taijiquan can break through the site limitation during exercise and also help promote traditional Chinese medicine health care culture.Therefore,24-Style Taijiquan is worth promoting among college students.
