Purposes: Based on the theory of healthy fitness,this paper evaluates the health status of female college students in the discipline department through the detection of four aspects: cardiopulmonary fitness,muscle strength and muscular endurance,flexibility and body composition.Through the practice of 16-week Wu style Taijiquan,the actual effect is detected.Methods: In this study,the experimental method was used to test the physical fitness of the physical fitness,muscle strength and muscular endurance,flexibility and body composition of 40 female college students of the Beijing Physical Education University.The indicators tested included lung capacity,3 min step test,grip strength,1 min sit-up,sitting body flexion,height,weight,BMI,waist-to-hip fat ratio,and body fat percentage.Then the subjects were randomly divided into experimental group and control group,20 people in each group.The experimental group was practiced for 16 weeks of Wu style Taijiquan.In addition to learning,the control group only performed daily physical activity and did not participate in any physical exercise.Data analysis method,The results of the tests before and after the experiment were subjected to t test.Result: After 16 weeks of Wu style Taijiquan practice,compared with the control group,the healthy fitness index of female college students in the experimental group varied to varying degrees.In terms of cardiopulmonary fitness,the mean lung capacity increased from 2923 ml before the experiment to 3128 ml after the experiment.The mean value of the step index increased from 58.92 before the experiment to 65.90 after the experiment.In terms of flexibility,the mean value of the sitting body flexion increased from 18.55 cm before the experiment.By the time of the experiment,22.29 cm,an indicator of body composition,the mean percentage ofbody fat decreased from 28.52 before the experiment to 27.87 after the experiment,and the difference was significant(P<0.05).In terms of muscle fitness,the mean value of grip strength and the average value of sit-ups,body composition,body mass index mean and waist-to-hip fat ratio mean difference were not statistically significant(P>0.05).Conclusion:(1)The 16-week Wu style Taijiquan exercise can effectively improve the physical fitness status of female college students in the discipline department,and the effect is enhanced in improving their flexibility and cardio-respiratory fitness.(2)Through the 16-week Wu-style Taijiquan practice,it was found that there was no significant change in body shape,upper limb muscle strength and comprehensive muscular endurance of female college students,and body fat was reduced.
