With the rapid development of science and technology,the competition of international comprehensive national strength is more and more reflected in the competition of innovative talents.Cultivating innovative thinking and creative high-quality talents has become the mission of educators in the new era.In our education,the primary school stage is not only regarded as an important stage to cultivate students’ creative personality,but also an important stage to cultivate students’ innovative consciousness.How to grasp this key period in information technology course teaching to cultivate students’ innovative thinking is the purpose of this study.This study includes the following parts:The first part,this paper discusses the research background,research objectives and significance,research content methods and research ideas.The second part,by looking up the relevant literature,defines the concept and characteristics of project learning and innovative thinking,and introduces the relevant theoretical basis.Finally,the research status of innovative thinking and project learning at home and abroad is analyzed.The third part,under the guidance of relevant theories,combined with the project learning teaching design principle of innovative thinking training,constructs the project learning teaching design model for innovative thinking training.In the fourth part,according to the project learning teaching design model for innovative thinking training,the fifth grade students in primary school were tested for four months.Before and after the teaching experiment,the Williams Creativity Tendency Test was used to test the students’ innovative thinking development.In addition,after the teaching experiment,the students were investigated for their learning satisfaction.Then,after the teaching experiment,statistics and analysis of the test data before and after the experiment,to verify whether its teaching design model can effectively cultivate the innovative thinking of primary school students.Finally,according to the concrete situation of teaching experiment,the suggestions and countermeasures to cultivate students’ innovative thinking in information technology course are given.The fifth part summarizes the research of this paper,reflects on the shortcomings of teaching experiments and puts forward the research prospect.The research shows that the project learning design of primary school information technology oriented to innovative thinking can improve students’ innovative thinking,stimulate students’ interest in learning,and improve students’ ability of problem solving and communication and cooperation.In the process of project work,the students’ self-efficacy is improved.
