The core accomplishment of chemistry discipline refers to the key ability,essential character and value concept that are of great value to students' future development formed through chemistry discipline learning.The problems faced by students in future real life often have the characteristics of open system,complex environment.and diversified schemes.Therefore,the ability of solving open problems in chemistry is the key ability of chemistry discipline,The improvement of students' open problem solving ability in chemistry will certainly promote the improvement of students' subject core accomplishment.However,the data show that the study of open problem solving in the field of chemistry education in China is relatively backward.On the basis of theoretical research on the connotation and types of chemical open problems,components of chemical open problem solving and thinking characteristics,this paper adopts the methods of test,interview and oral report to carry out research on the related problems of chemical open problem solving of senior one students.It is expected to provide reference for the evaluation of the development level of chemistry core literacy of senior high school students,because real and open problems are the best carrier of testing students' core literacy.It is also expected that the research on the cognitive characteristics of senior high school students in solving open problems in chemistry can provide help for senior high school front-line chemistry teachers in learning situation analysis and teaching strategy selection.This paper consists of four main parts.The first part elaborates the reason of the topic selection,conducts a literature review,and clarifies the content and significance,ideas and methods of the topic research.The second part defines the connotation of open problem and problem solving,analyzes the characteristics and types of open problem solving in chemistry,explains the constituent elements and thinking characteristics of open problem solving in chemistry,and analyzes the learning requirements,learning progression and influencing factors of open problem solving in senior one students.The third part,based on previous theoretical research,designs a test paper to explore the current situation of solving open problems in chemistry of senior one students and a questionnaire to explore the influencing factors,designs the oral report task list and interview outline,This investigation selected Huai'an,Taizhou,Yangzhou,Changzhou four senior high school just completed the study of chemistry courses 387 students for testing.12 subjects were selected for oral report and interview in consideration of gender and academic performance in chemistry in Yangzhou Middle School.The results show that:(1)The level of solving open problems in chemistry needs to be improved;There is a significant difference in the level of solving open problems in chemistry among senior one students with different grades.(2)In the process of solving open problems in chemistry,the complexity of problem representation increases,but the depth is not enough;The thinking of planning has improved,but it is not systematic enough;There are great differences in creative thinking between execution plan and expression,and the completeness of expression needs to be improved.(3)Students thought that the richness and structural ization of knowledge and experience,cognitive ability,teacher's teaching and learning evaluation had greater influence on students' solving open problem in chemistry,while the problem presentation,interest and motivation in solving problem and expression ability had less influence.The fourth part,combined with the results of previous theoretical analysis and empirical investigation,puts forward the teaching strategies to improve the level of open problem solving in chemistry for senior one students:(1)Design diversified chemical open problems;(2)Focus on the cultivation of higher order thinking in problem solving.
