Ancient poems are a colorful part of the long-standing Chinese history and culture,with their unique rhyme and format,possessing great significance and containing the vast sentiments of the poets.At the elementary level,the teaching of ancient poems also plays a large part in the overall language classroom.For teachers,a successful classroom leading-in of ancient poems can lay a good foundation for the teaching of ancient poems,making the classroom and the teaching content more attractive,interesting and meaningful,and a forerunner of the teaching content.For teachers,the development of an ancient poetry classroom leading-in requires subtle conceptualization and is one of the first parts of a lesson to think about.Appreciation and learning of ancient poems is one of the language skills students need to have in compulsory education,which not only cultivates students' creative thinking,strengthens their abilities such as imagination and association,but also improves their reading and appreciation skills,enables them to pass on thousands of years of traditional culture,experience the charm of Chinese culture,and enhance their language literacy in the study of ancient poems.Because of the special nature of ancient poetry texts and the shallow life experiences and weak knowledge base of lower and middle grade elementary school students,it is difficult for them to understand the meaning of ancient poems,which makes it more difficult for teachers to teach.The research on the leading-in of ancient poems in the lower and middle grades can not only expand the theoretical perspective of ancient poem leading-in teaching,but also provide a model for front-line educators to follow.Therefore,it is especially important for teachers to study the leading-in of ancient.Based on the concept and importance of the leading-in of ancient poetry teaching and the special characteristics of students in the lower and middle grades,this study analyzes and investigates the leading-in of ancient poetry teaching in the lower and middle grades of elementary language through classroom observation and interviews.The study also conducted interviews with front-line teachers to understand their perceptions of the leading-in of ancient poetry in the lower and middle grades and their suggestions for the leading-in of ancient poetry in the lower and middle grades.In the survey,we found the following problems in the teaching of ancient poems in the middle and lower grades: first,the leading-in method is single and lacks interest;second,the import content is suspended and lacks practicality;third,the import length is inappropriate and lacks quality and effectiveness;fourth,the import language is tedious and lacks artistry;fifth,the import presentation is complicated and lacks effectiveness.On the basis of these problems the causes of the problems were analyzed,mainly the lack of awareness,teachers' import awareness;lower grasp,teachers' import ability;lack of thinking,teachers' import design is old-fashioned;development is hindered,teachers' import learning is missing.These problems lead to the fact that the leading-in link of the ancient poetry classroom does not accomplish its tasks well in attracting students' attention,linking old and new knowledge,stimulating students' interest in the task,and creating ancient poetry scenarios.After analyzing the problems and causes of the leading-in of ancient poems in the middle and lower grades,several suggestions were made: continuous learning to improve teachers' ability;awakening awareness to improve the level of the leading-in;scientific design to plan teaching factors;courageous exploration to enrich the leading-in methods;active participation to organize activities to expand;objective evaluation to develop reflection skills to improve the leading-in of ancient poems in the middle and lower grades,so that the teaching of ancient poems can inherit and carry forward the splendid Chinese culture.We will make a small contribution to the teaching of ancient poetry to inherit and promote Chinese culture.
