It has become a consensus of the international community to attach importance to the development of inclusive education and promote the realization of education equity.With the promotion of international organizations,inclusive education has been developed in all countries to a certain extent.The implementation of inclusive education is inseparable from the practitioner of education--teachers.Under the development trend of more special need students study in ordinary school in China,the attitude,knowledge and ability of ordinary teachers towards inclusive education have become an important factor which affects the quality of education.Since the 1990 s,Australia has paid attention to cultivating the teachers' professional competency in inclusive education and has made some achievements in this respect.By analyzing the current situation of the cultivation of Australian teachers' inclusive education professional competency in Australia and summarizing its characteristics,it is of great significance to cultivate the teachers' inclusive education professional competency in China.This paper mainly uses literature study,case study methods and comparative research to study the cultivation of Australian teachers' inclusive education professional competency.First of all,the paper discusses the domestic and foreign background in Australia about Australia's emphasis on cultivating teachers' inclusive education professional competency.Then,this paper analyzes the requirements of teachers' inclusive education professional competency in Australian teacher professional standards and state teachers code or guidance,and summarizes the basic elements about teachers' inclusive education professional competency from three aspects: professional knowledge,professional ability,attitude and values.Then,this paper expounds the pre-service training approaches for teachers' inclusive education professional competency in Australia,and takes Monash University as a case to analyze.Then,taking typical online learning platforms and learning programs as examples,this paper examines the post-service promotion path of teachers' inclusive education professional competency.Finally,the paper summarizes the Australian characteristics in cultivating the Australian teachers' professional competency,and summarizes some enlightenment for China.
