Art museums,as social resources,are important carriers to improve children’s art literacy and carry out art education activities.This study from the perspective of children,listen to the voices of children,understand children’s understanding of existing art gallery to create and open activities and experience,the value of children’s perspective of art galleries,and analyzing the characteristic of children’s favorite art gallery,for art museum public education activities,the kindergarten for children groups using gallery resources and optimize the art activities to provide advice.In this study,28 children aged 5-6 from a kindergarten in N City were selected as the research objects.Data were collected by work analysis method and interview method,and the data were coded and sorted by qualitative analysis method.The research results mainly include two aspects: first,children’s understanding and experience of art museums;secsond,children’s expectation of art museums.In the part of children’s understanding and experience of art museums,it mainly discusses the definition,value,environment and activity experience of art museums from four aspects.In the part of children’s expectation for the museum,it presents children’s expectation for the museum environment,the museum activities and the subject of the museum activities.Finally,the researcher interprets the value of art museums for children’s development from the perspective of children.First,art museums enrich children’s visual experience and promote the development of their imagination and creativity.Second,the art museum creates emotional space,which is conducive to the formation of children’s healthy personality.Third,the art museum liberates the time and space of children and creates good conditions for the improvement of children’s artistic ability.Researchers from children’s hope for the gallery is summed up in the children’s favorite art gallery has the following five basic characteristics: interesting,naturalness,aesthetic,relative freedom and the life,and focused on the characteristics for the galleries of children like to children’s education activities to provide the following Suggestions: to respect children’s preference for game instinct,gives art gallery in the spirit of the game;Understand children’s unique aesthetic feelings and create appropriate exhibition space;Give play to the role of the exhibition guide to serve children;Bring art back to nature and create an ecological art museum;Make full use of the space value of the museum to create a rich visual experience.Finally,based on children’s understanding and experience of the museum and the value of the museum from children’s perspective,the researcher provides the following suggestions for kindergartens to use the museum resources: create opportunities to use the museum resources and increase the frequency of children’s entry;Excavate and utilize the resources of art museums to realize the value of multi-field courses;Improve the ability of art museum activity design,and carry out appropriate art museum activities.The following suggestions are put forward for the kindergarten to optimize art activities: provide diversified visual art cases and create a good art appreciation environment;Open the use of art media to create a free and relaxed atmosphere for activities;Pay attention to the exhibition link of educational activities,construct children’s good social self-awareness;Set up the correct education idea,become the supporters of children’s art activities;Fully excavate and utilize social resources to realize the value of multi-field courses.At the end of this study,the researchers reflect on the problems in this study.
