In the 21 st century of rapid technological iteration,technical talents who can carry out innovative design have become the demand of The Times.For high school education,to improve students' innovative design ability,it is necessary to start with changing students' thinking mode.Design thinking is a way of thinking and method that promotes designers to innovate and design.Designers based on the real world,starting from the actual demand of human beings,using systematic thinking to collect and integrate information,and following the actual design art rules,use surrounding materials and tools to carry out creative design activities,finally transform design ideas into products.So cultivating the students' design thinking can effectively improve students' innovative spirit and design ability.High school general technology curriculum is the basic course to cultivate students' innovative design ability.It aims to improve students' technical consciousness,engineering thinking,innovative design,pattern expression and materialization ability,and takes learning of design and operation as the main characteristics.Therefore,it is of positive significance to study how to cultivate students' design thinking in high school general technology curriculum.It can not only promote the improvement of students' core literacy and form a good thinking mode of problem solving,but also meet the training needs of innovative talents in China and boost the common progress of individuals and society.Based on the "EDIPT" model of Stanford University,this study constructed a research framework,and investigated the current situation of students' design thinking ability from five indicators including empathy ability,definition ability,assumption ability,prototyping ability and testing ability.Through the questionnaire survey,it can be found that ordinary high school students are most lacking in the ability of imagination and prototyping,which are often limited by realistic conditions and technologies.The level of design thinking ability of ordinary students is different in four aspects: gender,grade,region and whether technical subjects are chosen as the subjects of college entrance examination.On the basis of the above,combined with the current general technology curriculum ' s situations and teacher interviews 'results,we proposed the cultivation of students' design thinking strategies: paying attention to the multidimensional integration of design thinking in curriculum goals;focusing on the development stage of design thinking in curriculum teaching;centering on the multiple generation of design thinking in curriculum evaluation.Under the guidance of the strategies,specific high school general technology project content design cases were selected to evaluate the training effect of design thinking.The results show that students' design thinking ability and creativity level have been effectively improved.Therefore,this study can provide a reference case for teachers to train students' design thinking in high school general technology curriculum,and provide reference significance for the subsequent training research of students' design thinking.
