With the development of educational modernization and the transformation of the orientation of education goals,the goals of education are quietly changing,and the Ministry of Education issued the "Information Technology Curriculum Standards for the Compulsory Education Stage" in 2022,which points out that students should be trained have the ability to solve problems and cultivate the spirit of innovation,but combined with the current survey of domestic middle school information technology and science courses,the conceptual shift is not synchronized with the innovation of teaching in reality,and there are still problems in information technology courses that are backward in teaching form and emphasize technology over literacy.As a way of thinking that emphasizes the cultivation of students’ creativity and ability to analyze problems,design thinking can cultivate students with innovative problem-solving methods,and integrating design thinking into the teaching process of information technology courses can help students further understand the technical process with design thinking Cultivating science and technology literacy is not only in line with the training goals of information technology courses required in the current new curriculum standards,but also can innovate the form of course teaching.Therefore,this study focuses on the cultivation of students’ design thinking,integrates design thinking and and science technology courses,constructs an instructional model of information and science technology courses oriented to design thinking,so as to cultivate students’ design thinking,and takes the artificial intelligence knowledge module as an example to design in order to provide reference for other content.This research mainly focuses on the following parts: firstly,the concept,development history,characteristics,models,etc.of design thinking are sorted out,and the current situation of information technology courses and artificial intelligence education is reviewed to summarize the main problems and analyze the feasibility of the combination;Secondly,combined with the existing literature at home and abroad,by analyzing and summarizing the components of design thinking,extracting its characteristics to lay the foundation for the construction of subsequent models,and then through analysis of the design thinking instruction model and combined with the actual teaching situation,the design thinking teaching design principles and project characteristics are expounded,relying on the project to build the design thinking teaching model from the five links of empathy,exploration,conception,prototype and evaluation,and divide the implementation process into three stages including before the design activity,during the activity and after the activity.In order to verify the effectiveness of the teaching model,this study carries out a one-semester teaching experiment in school of S province,set up a control group and an experimental group in the teaching process,and collect the experimental data of the two groups through questionnaire survey method,work evaluation method,interview,etc.to analyze the impact of the instructional model on students’ design thinking,learning effect,course satisfaction and other aspects.After analyzing the results of teaching experiments,the study concludes that(1)this instructional model can improve students’ design thinking level from the aspects of empathy ability,ideation ability and problem definition;(2)It is helpful to optimize the effect of artificial intelligence courses,improve course satisfaction,and provide reference for the teaching form of artificial intelligence courses;(3)Help students learn artificial intelligence knowledge better,improve students’ learning level,improve the innovation of students’ project works,increase students’ understanding of design thinking learning,and provide help for subsequent learning.
