Time management is of great significance to human growth and development.For children in senior classes,cognitive monitoring and time management ability are very important.However,the existing research lacks attention to children ' s time management ability.Therefore,this study focuses on the improvement of children ' s time management ability in large classes.In this study,action research was carried out with class S in S Garden as the sample class.Research methods,such as observation,interview,questionnaire and individual test,were mainly adopted to record and analyze the current situation of children's time management ability in this class.The researchers understand the current situation of children's time management ability in this class from the aspects related to children's time management ability,such as the cognitive level of number concept time monitoring and time efficacy.First,children's ability to recognize numbers and number representation presents individual differences in number concept ability.Second,there are different levels and individual differences in the cognitive level of time.Thirdly,the lack of time monitoring experience and time efficacy of children in this class are analyzed from three levels of factors affecting children's time management ability.First,from the perspective of children,age is an objective factor affecting children's time management ability.Second,from the perspective of teachers,teachers are aware of the importance of improving children's time management ability,but lack effective guidance strategies;Teachers create an environment to help children manage their time,but the environmental value is not fully realized.Thirdly,from the perspective of parents,parents attach great importance to the cultivation of children's time management ability,but the cultivation form is single;Parents have the awareness of improving children's time management ability,but the educational effect is not good.Based on the understanding of the current situation and influencing factors of children's time management ability,this study designed and carried out various forms of activities to help children in this class to improve their time management ability.In the action study,children gain growth,such as children's cognition of time becomes richer.Children's experience of time is more profound;Children's connotation of time management is more clear;Children's time management ability has been gradually improved,and the researchers have gained growth,such as the deepening of the curriculum concept and the clear play of the activity subject to the auxiliary education role of the class environment.The following suggestions are proposed for the preschool teachers to improve the time management ability of children in senior classes: For example,teachers should pay attention to children's age and experience as the starting point for improving their time management ability;Interest and expansion are the boosters of improving children's time management ability;Experience and operation is the way to improve children's time management ability;Consolidation and internalization are the accumulation of the improvement of children's time management ability.However,the research also has some shortcomings,such as time shortage and the failure to involve the development of other experiences related to time management ability.
