There are two shortcomings in the design of traditional geography homework:one is that it pays too much attention to the consolidation of knowledge points and the training of problem-solving skills,which is not comprehensive enough for the cultivation of geographical core literacy;the other is that it is mainly a single class hour,which easily leads to the fragmentation of geographical cognition,which is not conducive to the construction of systematic and logical knowledge framework.This study focuses on the concept of geographical unit,relying on the theme situation,through a variety of homework design,to help students improve the level of thinking logic and geographical core literacy.First of all,this paper takes senior high school geography teachers and students as the survey objects,and investigates the design and implementation of senior high school geography homework.It is found that there are three major problems in the current senior high school geography homework: first,in the process of homework design and implementation,we don't pay enough attention to some homework elements;second,in the process of homework design and implementation,we don't pay enough attention to some homework elements;Second,students' geographical core literacy level is not balanced;Third,teachers and students are lack of understanding of geography unit homework.Through the analysis of the performance and causes of these problems,it lays a foundation for the design direction of geographical large unit operations.Secondly,based on the questionnaire survey and literature research,this paper puts forward the specific requirements and views on the design of high school geography Large Unit Homework from the design basis,design philosophy,design principles,design strategies and main types of homework.The design basis mainly comes from the "general high school geography curriculum standard(2017)",students' physical and mental characteristics and cognitive basis.The design concept is closely linked with the reality of life,paying attention to the cultivation of core literacy,reflecting the comprehensive education goal and strengthening the application of the essence of the discipline.The design principles are objective,scientific,diverse and hierarchical.Based on the theory of addi model,according to the steps of analysis,design,development,implementation and evaluation,this paper expounds the operation mode of geographical large unit operation.According to the characteristics of all kinds of homework,geography Large Unit Homework can be divided into conventional exercises,practical operation,problem exploration and project paper.Under the guidance of the design principle of large unit work,this paper takes senior high school Geography 1 and Geography 2 as examples to design specific unit work cases.Finally,under the guidance of Addie model,this paper takes the "population" Large Unit Homework as an example to study the practice of high school,and concludes that the "population" Large Unit Homework is helpful to the cultivation of students' Geography core literacy,as well as the improvement of knowledge and skills.However,there are still some problems in this study,such as short practice cycle,few practice cases,and the content of large unit homework is not rich enough,which need to be further explored in the future.
