Ideological and political education in colleges and universities is the process of cultivating newcomers of the era who are responsible for national rejuvenation.Newcomers of the era should be individuals with independent thinking,special ethics,and courage,able to achieve their own positive development with wise consideration,firm belief,and graceful humility.Every outstanding individual should also take on the great task of building the country and nation,actively care about the development of the country,and resonate with the motherland's own development.Hannah Arendt is one of the most original thinkers in the 20 th century in the West.Her concern for the "active life" of human beings provides us with inspiration,inspiration and enlightenment.This research aims to make a special study on Arendt ' s "active life" theory,starting from the "active life" theory,based on the current situation of ideological and political education in colleges and universities,and explore the ideological deposits in his theory that can be used for reference and reference for ideological and political education in colleges,So as to balance the tension between individuality and publicity,prevent the excessive expansion of individuals,and highlight publicity on the basis of reasonable individuality.At the same time,based on individuality,explore how to cultivate individuals' good thinking,judgment,and action abilities in the context of modernity,and maintain the active development of individuals,so as to achieve the unity of individuality and publicity,and become a "complete person".This research follows the idea of "theoretical evaluation-theoretical observation-theoretical reference".First,it combines the historical background and personal experience of the birth and evolution of Arendt's theory to interpret Arendt's public domain theory,thinking theory,judgment theory and action theory.Connotation and characteristics,and then sort out the logical structure relationship between these four theoretical categories,and build a systematic theoretical framework of "active life".At the same time,it analyzes the limitations of Arendt's public sphere theory and labor viewpoints in the context of China's reality and Marxism.Further,starting from the current status of ideological and political education in colleges and universities,with the help of Arendt's theory of active life,from the two dimensions of public and individual,thinking concretely about the shortcomings of ideological and political education in colleges and universities in the four levels of publicity,thinking,judgment and action education.Finally,problem-oriented,using the method of integrating theory with practice,the positive value and side warnings in Arendt's "active life" theory are properly applied to the ideological and political education of Chinese universities,and combined with Marx's advanced thought and China's development Achievement transcends Arendt's thought.Arendt's theory of“active life”has gone back and forth between the individual's inner spiritual world and the outer public world.It points out that to become an individual in a beautiful new world,one must have the inner ability to think independently,judge carefully,and act positively,and can put these abilities freely into an open and inclusive public life and become an active public person.Of course,Arendt' s theory is not perfect either,the barriers she built for the public word,the talk about the victory of the working animals has obvious ideals and biases,which are different from the Chinese ideological context and reality.In this regard,we need to uphold a current,rational,and Chinese perspective.But fundamentally,Arendt' s thoughts are based on his concern about the situation of people at the time and in the foreseeable future.What is the reality situation of modern people? Taking Arendt as a mirror image,we can see that modern people are showing the expansion of individuality and the weakness of publicity.This is closely related to the lack of public education in ideological and political education in universities.The specific manifestation is that the current public space attributes of ideological and political education in colleges and universities itself are insufficient,public life is monotonous and lonely,and public relations education is difficult to grasp the balance between "subject" and "other".In the cultivation of civic abilities and active individuals,ideological and political education in colleges and universities still needs to work on teaching students how to think,helping students learn to judge flexible situations,and stimulating students' ability to act.This,to a certain extent,causes contemporary college students to show the lack of thinking in ordinary daily use,the helplessness of judging moral situations,and the loss of the ability to initiate new actions.With this in mind,college ideological and political education should learn from,develop and surpass Arendt's "active life" theory.One is to start with the public sphere,public life,public relations and public spirit,take on the cause of cultivating public people,and maintain a reasonable tension between the cultivation of individuality and the cultivation of publicity.Specifically,promote the well-ordered development of public spaces in colleges and universities,college ideological and political classrooms,and the online world;guide students by creating a good classroom life,exploring and enriching public teaching content,and improving the public education ability of ideological and political teachers Live an active public life;implement the "connection and separation" inter-subject sexual relationship education.Second,guide students to break away from the state of non-thinking in ordinary daily use,and always maintain a rational dialogue with themselves and the world;realize the return of Socratic thinking and help students free themselves from wrong Cartesian doubts;Clarify the relationship between intellectual education and rational education,realize the pursuit of meaning,and achieve the same and complete subject personality.Third,improve moral judgment education,strengthen the moral guidance and enlightenment effect of models on students,in order to stimulate students' moral imagination and sense of commonality,break the limitations of students' self-moral world,and realize the connection between self and the moral world of others.Fourth,use action education to shape students' ability to restart in new situations and new worlds,and strengthen the shaping of students' virtues such as bravery,responsibility,and forgiveness.
