Youth is the cornerstone of a strong country.every Chinese child has a Chinese dream to realize the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.The younger generation of China is the main force to realize this Chinese dream.The middle school stage is a special stage where adolescents’ values have not been fully formed and are easy to de-viate.How to guide middle school students to establish a correct world outlook,out-look on life and values is a soul project that must be paid attention to in cultivating young successors.Education in every era should have its own theme.The new era requires us to strive to realize the good wishes of the Chinese people,so the patriotism education of middle school students in the new era must have the factors of the times.Patriotism education,as a category of school moral education,based on its disciplinary nature and function,has a unique advantage in the ideological and political course that holds the function of moral education,and is also the main content and goal of the ideo-logical and political course.Schools should attach great importance to and strengthen the patriotic education of students,and effectively implement the leadership,organization,management and inspection feedback of patriotic education.Ideological and political teachers in high school should constantly strengthen the professional theoretical literacy,keep pace with the times to optimize the professional knowledge structure,closely integrate with the teaching material,take measures at the same time,flexibly and cleverly strengthen patriotism education in ideological and political teaching,and enhance students’ patriotic consciousness.This paper first reviews the relevant literature at home and abroad,defines the related concepts of patriotic education,analyzes the main content of patriotic education and the theoretical basis of this paper,expounds the significance of integrating patriotic education into the ideological and political theory course for middle school students in Tibet,and analyzes the feasibility of carrying out patriotic education in the ideological and political course from the nature of the ideological and political course,the special correlation with patriotic education and the advantages of patriotic education.This paper selects Lhasa No.2 High School as a case,and obtains a large amount of data through questionnaire survey.On this basis,through literature research,it comprehensively analyzes the current situation of patriotic education in the ideological and political courses in high schools in Tibet,analyzes the existing problems and the causes behind them,and gives scientific suggestions for improvement through research on the corresponding problems.The whole paper is a comprehensive study of the current patriotic education of ideological and political courses in high schools in Tibet,which has certain guiding significance for future education and teaching.
