Concept learning is the fundamental problem of International Science Education Research,especially for the understanding of disciplines' core concepts.However,many domestic research have shown that teachers normally teach the common concepts to their students but lacking of practices.This kind of rote learning leads to students' poor understanding about these concepts.Based on this,this research will build a teaching design model based on Ph ET virtual experiment to promote the concept learning for junior middle school students,specifically focus on virtual experiment and concept learning framework.Firstly,Firstly,this research uses the literature research method to analyst the feasibility of Ph ET virtual experiment can promote the study of physics concept in the junior school,providing a deeply research about existing teaching design model for concept learning,and also building this kind of teaching design model.This kind of model includes four main parts,concept-based preliminary analysis,information resource design,teaching process implementation and learning effect evaluation.The concept-based preliminary analysis includes learning objection analysis,learning content analysis and students' learning status analysis;Information resource design includes learning environment design,digital media selection,teaching strategy selection and learning resource design;Teaching process implementation includes situation-creation,topic-raising,hypothesis formulation,scientific research,final conclusion and relevant application.At the same time,concept learning scale,physical learning attitude scale and semi-structured interview are used to assess student's level of concept learning as well as their attitude for learning.Relying on designed teaching model,this research uses the example of physics circuit experiment in junior middle school and designs four teaching cases considering various level of concept learning,including “Resistance in Wire”,“Ohm's Law”,“Series Circuit”and “Parallel Circuit”.These teaching cases can fully evaluate learning result changes in practical level,conceptual level and model-based level.The quasiexperimental research method is used to teach in this research and then analyzing its result.The conclusion is found as follow: in terms of students' concept learning level,there are significant differences when comparing postclass test and pre-test,and post-class test with post-class test.After the experiment,the concept learning level in the experimental class is higher than that of the control class,and the students in the experimental class have significant improvement in all three level.Considering the students' physical learning attitude,the experimental class is also higher than of control class.Therefore,it can be concluded that this kind of teaching design model is effective and able to improve students' concept learning level.
