The senior high school entrance examination is not only the end of compulsory education,but also the beginning of high school education.Meanwhile,the direction of the proposition of the high school entrance examin-ation is invisibly affecting the changes in teaching practice.Material analysis questions are a significant part of the history test in the Chongqing Senior High School Entrance Examination.This question has the characteristics of widesources of materials and flexible questioning.It requires students to extract,analyze,summarize historical information,but it also brings certain difficulties to teaching and students to answer the questions.Therefore,this article studies the materials analysis questions of the 2012-2021 History Subject in Chongqing Senior High School Entrance Examination from the basis of the proposition,the scores of the questions,the way of presentation of the materials,the ability test,and the knowledge content test.It is concluded that it has the characteristics of mainly examining basic knowledge,focusing on situational propositions,focusing on the examination of students' comprehensive ability,paying attention to news hotspots,and highlighting the openness of test questions.However,it is found that the test shortages are not closely related to the material and the question,the questioning method is rigid,and the material type is single.Therefore,I put forward suggestions for improvement of the proposition from the points of value,question setting,material type,and highlighting the subject of the test.At the same time,combined with the research on the test questions and the current teaching situation,I put forward teaching suggestions for teachers to approach students,pay attention to hot spots,strengthen and guide students to interpret historical materials,and put forward learning suggestions for students in terms of extended reading and standardized answering.
