The 21 st century is an era of high individuation and high cooperation and connection between people.Education should not only attach importance to the individual development of students,but also guide students to participate in public activities consciously and competently,strengthen the connection between students and others,students and society,so that make students into public life.As a form of human expression of thoughts and emotions,art is obviously one of the ways for students to participate in public.In teaching activities,when the content of public issues is transmitted to students,the use of artistic experience,appreciation and creation will not only help to arouse students' awareness and willingness to participate in the public,it can also improve students' ability to participate in the public in an artistic way,as well as their ability to cooperate,communicate and solve problems.This study used the method of action research,combined with observation,interview,questionnaire survey and other methods to collect real research data,in order to analyze the implementation and teaching effect of promoting primary school students' public participation through art,based on this research,this paper tries to provide some suggestions for the public participation of primary school students through art teaching,which can be used for reference for the future research.In the stage of preparation and design of action research,the researcher firstly analyzes the goal and path of public participation,points out that art is one of the ways of public participation,and puts forward specific teaching methods.Secondly,the researcher determines the research field,the research object,the research member,has formulated the action research process plan,has designed the teaching goal and the plan.In the implementation stage of action research,the researcher has conducted two stages,six topics of teaching,in constant reflection and revision of the research.The researchers found that after 12 weeks of teaching activities,the subjects showed relatively positive willingness and ability to participate,but there were still differences between male and female students in their expectation of hands-on opportunities in learning.The researcher puts forward the following suggestions for the future related teaching: to break through the discipline boundary,to choose the appropriate teaching theme,to reconstruct the teaching method,to ensure the participation and expression of the students,to guide the correct evaluation and to attach importance to the stimulating function of the evaluation.
