Purpose: The kindergarten teacher is the leader of the classroom,and the development of kindergarten sports is closely related to the kindergarten teacher’s physical education ability.This study builds an evaluation index system for preschool teachers’ physical teaching ability based on the existing research on children’s physical education and physical education teaching ability.Based on the evaluation system,it designs an evaluation scale for preschool teachers’ physical teaching ability to provide a measurement tool for understanding and improving preschool teachers’ physical teaching ability,in order to formulate a scientific and effective teacher training plan to enhance the physical education ability of kindergarten teachers.Method: This paper adopts the method of literature data and expert interviews to initially establish the evaluation system indicators;uses the Delphi method and questionnaire survey methods to collect data,constructs the evaluation indicators of preschool teachers’ physical education ability;uses mathematical statistics to analyze the data,and Cronbach’s coefficient verifies the reliability of the questionnaire.The consistency coefficient reflects the degree of uniformity of expert opinions.The three rounds of survey results show that the expert opinions have become consistent,and the survey is stopped;the content and structural validity of the expert questionnaire are determined according to the expert score;the average numerical method is used to determine the weight coefficient of each indicator;According to the indicators and weights of the evaluation system,design the evaluation scale of preschool teachers’ physical education ability,carry out item analysis,factor analysis,and verify the validity of the structure.Results:(1)The first-level indicators of the evaluation index system for preschool teachers’ physical teaching ability are basic physical quality of preschool teachers,preschool physical teaching design capabilities,preschool physical teaching implementation capabilities,preschool physical teaching evaluation capabilities,and preschool teachers’ innovative research capabilities.The weights are 0.223,0.212,0.207,0.190,0.168;16 second-level indicators and 43 third-level indicators.The Kronbach’s coefficients of the three rounds of expert surveys were 0.946,0.989,and0.972,respectively,and experts believed that the questionnaire was valid.(2)The high group and low group of preschool teachers’ physical education ability evaluation scale were subjected to independent sample T test.The t statistic of the critical ratio met the requirements(t>3.000),indicating that the items were discriminated(P<0.01);The correlation coefficients between the items and the total score are all significantly correlated(p<0.01),and the correlation coefficients are all greater than 0.4;the Cronbach alpha coefficient reaches 0.961,which indicates that the scale has good reliability and validity.(3)Evaluate 152 kindergarten teachers by using the preschool teachers’ physical education ability evaluation scale.From the perspective of gender,male kindergarten teachers score 77.44±4.77,female kindergarten teachers score 79.11±4.96;from the perspective of educational background,the score of kindergarten teachers with a college degree is 78.23±5.53,and the score of kindergarten teachers with a bachelor degree is 78.83±4.71;from the perspective of working years,the score of preschool teachers who have worked for 1-10 years is 79.44±5.14,the score of preschool teachers who have worked for 11-20 years is 77.49±4.64,and the score of preschool teachers who have worked for 21-30 years is 76.76±4.13,the score of kindergarten teachers who have worked for more than 30 years was 78.66±4.95;The average scores of physical education teaching ability of preschool teachers of different genders,educational backgrounds and working age groups are all at the average level,and the difference in average scores is not statistically significant(P>0.05).Conclusion:(1)Preschool teacher’s physical education ability refers to the ability of kindergarten teachers to achieve physical education goals,complete physical education tasks,and improve the level of physical innovation research based on the corresponding theoretical knowledge of physical education,basic sports skills and sports emotions.(2)Preschool teachers’ physical teaching ability evaluation index system firstlevel indicators are ranked as follows: children’s physical teaching implementation ability> children’s physical teaching design ability> children’s physical education teaching evaluation ability> preschool teachers’ basic physical qualities> preschool teachers’ innovative research ability.The ability to implement physical education is a key component of the evaluation system.Having basic physical qualities is a prerequisite for developing high-quality physical education activities.The innovative research ability of kindergarten teachers is the internal driving force for the professional development of teachers.(3)The system has reliability,effectiveness and operability,and can be used in kindergartens to evaluate teachers’ physical education ability,and it can also be used as a self-evaluation tool for kindergarten teachers’ physical education ability.
