Teachers are the first resource for the development of education and an important cornerstone for the prosperity of the country,the revitalization of the nation and the well-being of the people.Improving teachers’ professional quality plays an important role in accelerating the modernization of education and building an educational power,and has far-reaching significance in improving the quality of education and teaching in an all-round way and promoting the connotative development of higher education.Tennis teachers in sports colleges are the organizers,implementers and instructors of tennis courses in sports colleges.The level of tennis teachers’ teaching ability is related to the quality of tennis course education and teaching.Teaching evaluation has a unique prediction function,guidance function,diagnosis function and incentive function.Applying teaching evaluation to the development of teaching ability of tennis teachers in sports colleges and universities is conducive to helping tennis teachers in sports colleges and universities adhere to problem-orientation,find the "blocking points","pain points" and "difficulties" of tennis teachers’ teaching ability,and timely clear the "blocking points",eliminate the "pain points" and overcome the "difficulties",Comprehensively improve the teaching ability of tennis teachers in sports colleges and promote the comprehensive and sustainable development of tennis teachers in sports colleges and universities;Improve the quality of education and teaching and promote the comprehensive development of students;Strengthen the foundation,promote the advantages,complement the weaknesses,and promote the innovation and development of tennis curriculum.In order to improve the scientific,systematic and accurate evaluation of the teaching ability of tennis teachers in sports colleges,this study uses the research methods of literature,interview,Delphi,statistics,and analytic hierarchy process,and on the basis of extensive reading of literature,combined with the results of expert interviews,through many adjustments and modifications,constructs the evaluation index system of the teaching ability of tennis teachers in sports colleges,The weights of the indicators at all levels in the evaluation index system of tennis teachers’ teaching ability in sports colleges are determined,and the evaluation scheme of tennis teachers’ teaching ability in sports colleges based on the evaluation index system of tennis teachers’ teaching ability in sports colleges is designed.The specific research results are as follows:1、 A teaching ability evaluation index system for tennis teachers in sports colleges has been established.The technical route of the evaluation index system for teaching ability of tennis teachers in sports colleges has been designed,and the construction,implementation,and development goals of the evaluation index system for teaching ability of tennis teachers in sports colleges have been clarified.The principles of scientificity,systematicity,appropriateness,and development have been established as the construction principles of the evaluation index system for teaching ability of tennis teachers in sports colleges;We have constructed an evaluation index system for the teaching ability of tennis teachers in physical education institutions,which includes 3 primary indicators such as tennis teaching design ability,14 secondary indicators such as tennis teaching goal design ability,and 46 tertiary indicators such as cognitive goal demonstration of the basic laws of tennis sports.2 、 We have established the evaluation index system for teaching ability of tennis teachers in sports colleges and universities,and the weights of various indicators at all levels.Using the Analytic Hierarchy Process to construct a hierarchical structure model of the indicator system,form a judgment matrix,and conduct consistency testing on the expert weighting results,the final weight of tennis teaching design ability is determined to be 0.343,the weight of tennis teaching implementation ability is 0.343,and the weight of tennis teaching evaluation ability is 0.314.At the same time,the Analytic Hierarchy Process is also used to determine the weight of 14 secondary indicators,The percentage weighting method was used to determine the weights of 46 tertiary indicators.
