Teacher professional development always is a hot spot in the field of international education,with the implementation of the new curriculum reform in our country,in 2012,Shanghai municipal education commission issued the "Shanghai municipal education commission on" special "high school sports teaching reform pilot work of notice,in the implementation of the high school sports special chemical facing the teachers problem,more and more high to the requirement of PE teachers,PE teachers' professional development is imminent.The current PE teacher evaluation content one-sided,too empty,and too evaluation and performance,and not from the perspective of promoting sports teachers' professional development,this paper aims to promote the professional development of Shanghai high school PE teachers by studying the evaluation index system of the professional development of Shanghai high school PE teachers.This study studied the professional development evaluation index system of Shanghai high school physical education teachers through the methods of literature,Delphi,questionnaire and mathematical statistics.On the basis of the literature data,the observation index is preliminarily drawn up,and the formal index entry is obtained through the expert evaluation.Then the evaluation index system was constructed and verified by factor analysis,and finally the evaluation index system of professional development of PE teachers in Shanghai high schools was obtained.Finally,the evaluation index system is studied empirically.The main conclusions are as follows:(1)the professional development evaluation index system of Shanghai high school physical education teachers is composed of 7 first-level and 42 second-level indicators,including professional attitude,extracurricular physical education organization,teaching achievement,professional knowledge,teaching effect,selfdevelopment and teaching implementation.The content of the evaluation index system is the combination of quantitative index and qualitative index,and the construction process is the combination of expert theoretical evaluation and large sample size verification,so the evaluation index system is more scientific and reasonable.(2)the weight of indicators at all levels was obtained through confirmatory factor analysis: teaching implementation(0.279)accounted for the highest weight among the first-level indicators;Teaching effect,teaching achievement,professional attitude,extracurricular sports organization,professional knowledge,self-development.In the process of professional development,PE teachers should pay more attention to the development of teaching ability.(3)empirical research results of the evaluation index system:(1)there is an extremely significant difference in the total score variables among different teaching years: PE teachers with more than 10 years are better than PE teachers with less than 10 years.(2)difference analysis between different teaching ages and scores of various secondary indicators under the first-level indicators: there is no significant difference between the second-level indicators under the first-level indicators under different teaching ages;There are obvious and significant differences among the secondary indicators under the after-school sports organization with different teaching years: the PE teachers with the secondary indicators less than 10 years are better than the PE teachers with more than 10 years;There are significant differences in the level 2 indicators of professional knowledge under different teaching years: d1 and d3 indicators are better than those of PE teachers with more than 10 years.Under different teaching years,there is an extremely significant difference in each secondary index of teaching effect: the physical education teachers with e1 index less than 10 years are better than those with more than 10 years,and the PE teachers with e4,e5 and e6 indexes more than 10 years are better than those with less than 10 years.There are significant differences among the secondary indicators under different teaching years: the secondary indicators are better than those under 10 years;There are significant differences between different teaching ages on the secondary indicators of self-development: f1 and f2 indicators are better than those of PE teachers who have been teaching for more than 10 years,and f3,f4 and f5 indicators are better than those of PE teachers who have been teaching for more than 10 years.There were significant differences among the secondary indicators under different teaching years: g1-g5,g7 and g9 indicators were better for those with more than 10 years than those with less than 10 years.The shortage of teachers with low teaching age in teaching implementation,teaching effect and teaching achievement is higher than that of teachers with high teaching age.Teachers with high teaching age are faced with job burnout and should constantly improve their comprehensive ability,especially in teaching research.The index system constructed in this paper is relatively comprehensive in content.When applying it,schools should improve it according to the actual situation of schools,so as to better promote the professional development of physical education teachers.Physical education teachers in different development stages should make targeted improvement according to the evaluation results and continuously promote their own professional development level.
