Objective: With the continuous improvement of productivity and the rapid development of social economy,the sleep quality of junior high school students is getting worse and worse,the screen time is getting longer and longer,and the level of physical activity is decreasing gradually.In order to understand the current screen time and physical activity,sleep quality of junior high school students,analysis of different characteristics of junior high school students screen time,physical activity and sleep quality differences,further study the relationship between screen time,physical activity and sleep quality of junior high school students,in order to improve the quality of junior high school students sleep to provide some effective recommendations,but also for the further development of junior high school students screen time intervention strategy to provide a basis.Research objects and methods: This study uses the methods of literature,questionnaire and mathematical statistics,and takes the students enrolled in 26 junior high schools in 13 cities and cities in Jiangsu Province as the subjects of the survey.Using the screen time questionnaire,the Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index(PSQI)scale,and the Children's Daily Physical Activity Questionnaire(CLASS-C)as survey tools,5004 valid samples were obtained.Using independent sample T test,single-factor variance analysis and other methods,analyze the differences in screen time,physical activity and sleep quality of junior high school students with different demographic characteristics: the relationship between screen time and physical activity and sleep quality of junior high school students was analyzed by using Person-related analysis and multiple linear regression methods.Results:(1)The average screen time for junior high school students was 1.54±0.13 h,the average screen time for rest days was 3.12±0.42 h,and the average daily screen time was 2.27±0.61 h.This exceeds the recommendation of the Disease Prevention and Control Bureau of the Ministry of Health of China for teenagers to spend no more than two hours a day on screen.There were significant differences in screen time between junior high school students of different genders(P<0.01)and significant differences in screen time between junior high school students of different grades(P<0.01).(2)The moderate intensity physical activity time for junior high school students is 59.99 ±5.71(min/d),the higher intensity physical activity time is21.99±6.82(min/d),and the moderate intensity physical activity time on the rest day is 80.03 ±11.55(min.55)/d),the higher intensity physical activity time is 30.01 ±7.31(min/d),the average weekly moderate intensity physical activity time is 70.82 ±7.66(min/d),and the high intensity physical activity time is 26.37 ±7.28(min/d).There was no difference in middle and high physical activity time between junior high school students of different genders(P>0.05)and significant differences in middle and higher physical activity time among junior high school students of different grades(P<0.01).(3)The total PSQI score of junior high school students is 5.17 ± 1.40 points,and the quality of sleep is at a moderate level.There were significant differences in sleep quality among junior high school students of different genders(P<0.01)and significant differences in sleep quality among junior high school students of different grades(P<0.01)(4)The screen time and sleep quality of junior high school students in Jiangsu Province showed a positive correlation of low degree(P<0.01),the negative correlation between physical activity and sleep quality(P<0.01),and the screen time was not correlated with physical activity(P>0.05).Conclusion:(1)There were significant differences in screen time between sex and grade of junior high school students,which showed that boys were higher than girls,junior higher than second grade and second graders were higher than first grade.(2)There is no difference in sex in physical activity among junior high school students,and there are significant differences in different grades,as shown by the first one higher than the second grade,the second higher and the third grade.(3)The sleep quality of junior high school students has significant differences between sex and grade,which show that girls are higher than boys,junior higher than second grade,and second grade is higher than first grade.(4)Too long screen time will lead to a decline in sleep quality,a certain amount of moderate and high intensity physical activity helps to improve sleep quality,but there is no correlation between screen time and physical activity,that is,screen time and physical activity on sleep quality has no interaction.
