A Research On Integrative Sandplay Therapy Intervention For High School Students With Career Decision Making Difficulties

The Career decision-making difficulty refers to various difficulties encountered by individuals in the process of career decision-making,and the degree of career decision-making difficulty represents the level of career decision-making ability(Gati,Krausz,& Osipow,1996).On the one hand,the level of the ability of high school students career decision-making,the impact of high school students learning motivation and performance,on the other hand,with the new system of the university entrance exam course selection makes the reform of high school students career decision-making is more urgent,so to overcome the high school students career decision-making difficulties,cultivating high school students career decision-making ability,very practical.This paper consists of the following three studies:(1)The Career Decision-making Difficulty Questionnaire(CDDQ)was distributed to386 senior high school students of the affiliated high School of Dalian University of Technology,and 386 copies were collected,of which 351 were effective with effective recovery rate of 91%.According to the results of the scale,the overall level of high school students' career decision difficulty,the level of three subscales,gender and grade differences of career decision difficulty were investigated.(2)The scores of the scale were ranked from high to low,and the bottom 30 were selected as the group with low difficulty in making career decisions,and the top 30 were selected as the group with high difficulty in making career decisions,with a total of 60 people.Let them make the initial sandtable,according to the data analysis to get the initial sandtable characteristics of high school students with difficulty in making career decisions.(3)of the 30 people in the career decision-making difficulties high group select the high school students interested and have time to cooperate with four people,it can be divided into1 individual integrated sand intervention group and intervention group 3 people group integrated layout,adopting quasi-experimental design of time sequence design using integrated sand play therapy intervention study on them.This study draws the following conclusions:(1)The career decision-making difficulty of senior high school students reaches the prominent difficulty level.In the three subscales of career decision difficulty,there is lack of preparation subscale score,which leads to prominence difficulty.Lack of information subscale score,achieve moderate difficulty;Inconsistent information subscale score,achieve moderate difficulty.There was no significant difference between male and female in the total score of career decision-making difficulties.There was no significant difference in the total score of career decision-making difficulty among different grades,and the score of lack of preparation in grade one was higher than that in grade two and grade three.(2)Compared with high school students without career decision-making difficulties,high school students' initial sand table works have the following characteristics: traffic and character sand tools are used more frequently;Five trauma themes appeared more frequently;There was no significant difference in the occurrence of healing topics;There was no significant difference in the number of sand return between the two.There were fewer self-images;Less moving sand;Sand table production time longer;There are fewer work scenes.(3)The negative index of sand table decreases and the positive index increases in group group and individual group;The flow of psychological energy in group group and individual group became smoother;The self-image of sand table in group group and individual group is more powerful and fits the theme.The scores of career decision difficulty questionnaire in group group and individual group decreased significantly.In conclusion,both group and individual integrated sandplay therapy have good intervention effects on high school students' career decision-making difficulties.
