The knowledge of natural geography in middle school is the basis of geography learning,which not only accounts for a large proportion and high status in daily learning examination,but also plays an important role in guiding people to understand nature,adapt to nature and get along with nature harmoniously.However,in the actual teaching process,there are still many problems in the development of physical geography teaching activities,which makes teachers and students have many differences on the teaching of physical geography knowledge.At present,the new curriculum standard has made clear the requirements for intuitive and explicit teaching,and the new college entrance examination reform also highlights the importance of intuitive and explicit teaching.It is urgent for middle school physical geography knowledge to use intuitive and explicit strategy,transform abstract into concrete,and improve the quality of teaching.Then,through questionnaire survey and interview survey,400 senior high school students and 42 front-line geography teachers in poor,good(general)and good schools were studied,and the problems and reasons in the teaching of physical geography knowledge in middle school were analyzed.The results show that: Students' enthusiasm for the knowledge of physical geography in middle school is not high,knowledge is difficult to understand,and learning methods are difficult to master;However,teachers have the problems of monotonous teaching methods and monotonous forms,which make it difficult to mobilize students' learning enthusiasm.Based on the existing research results,this paper puts forward targeted explicit and intuitive strategies for declarative knowledge and procedural knowledge of physical geography.According to the declarative knowledge of natural geography,this paper puts forward:(1)creating situation and stimulating students' interest in learning;(2)Activate map to help students to explore and understand;(3)Combined with the case,the paper helps students to use three strategies in memory.According to the procedural knowledge of natural geography,the article puts forward:(1)by means of visual demonstration,it is close to the living situation;(2)Case study and geographical chart;(3)The combination of dynamic and static,comparative display;(4)Practice operation,find the rules of understanding;There are four strategies to understand and master the rules by combining pictures and pictures.This paper expects to improve the teaching quality,promote students' learning enthusiasm,and improve the ability of teachers' human coordination concept through diversified strategies of natural geography visualization in middle schools,and lay a solid foundation for the improvement of students' geography learning literacy.
