The emphasis on students' core subject knowledge and the development of their key competencies has been a popular topic of concern in recent years and a key issue that the majority of educators are trying to address. The continuous promotion of basic education reform has put forward higher requirements on the methods of education and teaching. In this paper,we take high school chemistry preparation experiment review as an example, analyze the test content and requirements of this type of experiment based on the assessment system of the college entrance examination, explore effective methods of preparation review for chemistry experiments in combination with the learning situation, and verify its rationality and feasibility in actual teaching. This paper contains five chapters.Chapter 1 is the introduction, which explains the background, current situation, content, purpose, methods and the theoretical basis of the study;Chapter 2 analyzes the real exam questions related to the preparation experiments in the past three years based on the assessment system of the college entrance examination, and grasps the test contents and requirements of this type of college entrance examination questions;Chapter 3 is the analysis of the learning situation of the sample;Chapter 4,based on the above analysis, sets the targeted preparation Chapter 5 presents data analysis, discusses the feasibility of the revision methods, identifies problems and improves the revision methods. In the experimental classes, appropriate revision methods are developed and applied to the teaching practice:1.Use the "valence-class two-dimensional transformation relationship" of elements and their compounds to reconstruct the knowledge system of elements and compounds.2.Using experiments in textbooks as prototypes, guiding students to construct models for problem solving in preparatory experiments and to apply them flexibly in problem solving.(1)Summarize common experimental principles and methods in the form of micro-topics to improve the weak essential knowledge of students in the experimental classes.(2)Returning to textbook experiments, discovering some valuable problems, designing questions to guide students' thinking, developing their analytical and speculative skills, and allowing them to apply their existing knowledge flexibly in solving practical problems.(3)Guide students to objectively evaluate textbook experimental protocols and develop their disciplinary qualities of scientific enquiry and creative awareness from the dimension of practical exploration.(4)To analyse and summarise the general ideas and techniques for solving problems in preparation experiments, and to develop students' disciplinary literacy in evidential reasoning and model cognition from the dimension of thinking methods.(5)Screening the preparation experiment questions from previous year's college entrance examinations for students to practice in real-life situations;guiding students to relate the information given in the questions to their existing thinking models and exercising their practical application skills. This study is based on the IBM SPSS software to compare and analyse the performance of Experimental A class against four other similar sample classes before and after the use of the review method, showing that the implementation of the review method not only helps to improve students' ability to solve experimental questions, but also helps to improve their overall chemistry scores.
