In the direction of educational theory research in modern mathematics, the relationship between gender differences between boys and girls and mathematics teaching has been a hot issue in mathematics education research from beginning to end.Three-dimensional geometry is a very classical and important part of the high school mathematics teaching content.Students can develop their own logical thinking ability and spatial imagination ability in the process of learning three-dimensional geometry. With the progress of the times, the Ministry of Education in 2017 promulgated the General Senior High School Mathematics Curriculum Standards that put forward the students in the study of senior high school curriculum develop the core quality of mathematics disciplines,it includes mathematical abstraction, intuitive imagination, logical reasoning and other core literacy. In this study, the author carefully studied the domestic and foreign literature on the gender differences of high school students in the process of learning solid geometry, the description of the content of the core accomplishment of mathematics in the Mathematics Curriculum Standard for General Senior High School(2017 edition),and the division of the ability to achieve each level,as well as Among them, the core literacy of the solid geometry part is required.Combining with the description of the students' geometric thinking level and the characteristics of their development mode by Van Hill's theory of geometric thinking level,This paper combines the two ways of describing the students' abilities.Through the investigation and test of the geometric thinking level and the interview after the test,we can understand several core literacy centers of male and female students in three-dimensional geometry. This paper puts forward some teaching suggestions on the difficulties of students based on the author's own teaching experience.Through the investigation and study, the author finds that there are differences in the ability of three-dimensional geometric thinking between male and female students in senior high schools. From the perspective of Van Hill's geometric thinking theory, the number of female students at level 1 and 2 is slightly more than that of male students. The number of female students at Level 3 is far more than that of male students at this level. The number of male and female students at level 4 is basically equal. At level 5,the number of male students at this level is far more than that of male students.Girl student. From the point of view of the core accomplishment of mathematics, there is no obvious difference between boys and girls in the level of mathematical abstraction accomplishment, and more boys than girls reach the level of three;intuitive imagination accomplishment, girls from the level of two began to appear difficulties;the biggest difference between boys and girls is reflected in logical reasoning accomplishment, girls In level one, some weaknesses began to appear, especially those involving innovative thinking and knowledge networks. In view of this situation, the author proposes that teachers can help students to improve their own level of geometric thinking and core literacy from three aspects:advocating scientific classroom notes, focusing on the cultivation of girls' logical reasoning ability, and strengthening the training of map-reading and drawing to improve the ability of girls to process graphics.
