With the rapid development of information society, the computer has become an indispensable part of people’s daily study and life. The development of current information technology, objectively put forward the requirements of education reform. Middle school students’ ability of information talent cultivation of information literacy and education modernization has a significant impact. Since the full implementation of the new curriculum, the ability of students’ information literacy has quietly changed, gradually popularization of computers in the classroom and gives students more opportunities to adapt to and understand information technology.A large number of studies have suggested that the current information technology class in high school still can not get effective, student information literacy ability needs to improve. To explore a new way of developing the ability of information literacy, promote the improvement of students’ ability in information literacy, this paper is to gender difference Angle for the new starting point, exploring the practice, the investigation about the present situation of Baoji weibin middle school, high school students information literacy, professional data statistical analysis using SPSS software, has a certain research significance. This paper will be to conduct research from the following three aspects:1. Literature study combined with practical experience, determine the starting point of the thesis. Through consulting a large number of literature, summed up in the high school students information literacy ability training and research limitations and deficiencies. Combined with himself in baoji weibin middle school information technology teaching practice experience, according to different demands high school male and female, design to meet the need of students in teaching content, compared with the traditional teaching, the necessity of Angle for gender differences research and feasibility.2. Design the questionnaire, with gender differences as the research point. According to gender differences, and information literacy related theory, combined the practical teaching to carry on the design of the questionnaire, writing and revision. Write the interview outline, formative evaluation and summative evaluation scheme. Randomly selected from the high school grade four class as sample investigation. In Excel to statistics of survey results, and the male and female related data were analyzed. And by using SPSS software for statistical hypothesis testing.3. The summary analysis of the survey and statistical results, and puts forward countermeasures and Suggestions. To the relevant data such as interview, questionnaire results as the basis, combined with the formative assessment results, the male and female, comparing the performance of information literacy according to the hypothesis testing results concluded that the main conclusions of this study:male and female high school there were significant differences in information literacy ability in some aspects, with gender differences as the breakthrough point of the information technology teaching reform has certain necessity. Put forward the corresponding countermeasures and Suggestions. Summarize problems and disadvantages of this study, the role of gender differences in information literacy research outlook, hope to provide a new perspective for the research of information literacy.
