Research On Social Work Intervention In Rural Mutual Support For The Aged

In extended life expectancy and reduce fertility concept,under the influence of population aging phenomenon,at the same time,many young people out of rural areas,settled in work or life in cities,rural families become empty nest and miniaturization,the rural elderly population is facing huge pressure to pension.On the one hand,in the current stage of rapid social transformation,the change of rural family structure makes the family gradually fade out of the important stage of old-age security.On the other hand,the rural nursing homes have limited facilities and high costs,and the poor economic situation of the rural elderly is not enough to support such a high pension mode.The institutional pension is struggling,while the community pension development is slow and the level of security is low,so it is difficult to effectively bear the vast pension needs in rural areas.In this context,the mutual support for the aged comes into being outside of these modes,which can effectively fill the gap in the current rural areas,share the burden of children’s pension to a certain extent,and relieve the social pension pressure.In recent years,the state has issued documents to vigorously promote the development of rural mutual support for the aged,which undoubtedly points out a new direction for the innovation of rural mutual support for the aged,and provides a solid guarantee for the development of rural mutual support for the aged.It is of practical significance to improve China’s pension security system.Through field observation and interview method,the paper collected data on the pension situation of S village,understood the basic situation and pension status of the elderly in the village,analyzed the existing problems and pension needs in the pension,and actively excavated the available mutual pension resources in the village.During the in-depth understanding of the status quo of pension in S Village,the author integrated into the lives of local villagers and used semi-structured interviews to understand local villagers’ views and suggestions on mutual pension through informal conversations.The author did not do too much control in the interview process.Under the guidance of social theory,active aging theory,with team work in S village mutual endowment,build social networks for them,and break down barriers between neighbors,promote the close contact between neighbors,mutual promoting their support by means of group activities consciousness and ability,and to evaluate team work analysis,Suggestions are put forward to improve the deficiency of S mutual support for the aged.
