With the advent of the Internet age,the development of science and technology has changed the life.People’s reading style has gradually changed from paper books to electronic reading.An emerging way of reading— reading across media is rising,their readers are including about teenagers and middle-aged people,everyone can be a writer and a communicator of online literature.New media has a strong popularity and easy-to-understand features,making it a super-competitive force and a leisure entertainment.The variety of online novels,popular types include fantasy,knight,urban,spiritual,workplace,campus,president,history,science fiction,two dimensional novels,occupying half of the mainstream of reading,for middle school students,busy academics,many students like to read novels related to love on the Internet or the ancient plots of novels in recent years to regulate the pressure of learning.Throughout the current Chinese reading teaching,due to the impact of technological development and explosive growth of information,traditional teaching methods have gradually disappeared the interests from middle school students.The teaching methods and content are not closely integrated with the information age.Students gradually lose their reading interest.At the same time,internet has released a strong appeal to middle school students.The number and subject matter of online resource is vast,and useful online reading can expand the knowledge and imagination of reading.Excellent online reading can cultivate students’ literary and writing ability.If teachers introduce different media resources into teaching,they will certainly inject new vitality into reading teaching.This paper mainly introduces the current research results on the media in China and abroad.With the development of science and technology,the reading style of middle school students and the strategy of teachers in teaching have changed;the first chapter begins with the definition of media,Characteristics and development process research,a series of characteristics of network literature are related to media,technology has changed the way of literature communication,network literature challenges traditional literature;the second chapter shows the research results of middle school students’ online reading,research finds middle school students lose their interests in reading classics.Online reading has gradually occupied the dominant position of middle school students’ reading.The entertainment content and the fragmentation of reading style have gradually become the normal state of reading for middle school students.They take a postive attitude towards introducing media into the classroom.The third chapter is about the teacher’s discussion on how to join the media into traditional teaching.Firstly,it makes a summary of the traditional teaching methods.Then it discusses what quality teacher should have in the network age: taking the students as the center of teaching and treating them equally.Media reading,creating interactions between teachers and students,cultivating students to establish correct values;providing a view on the combination of famous reading teaching and online literature.The role of media reading in teaching mainly includes: creating a reading atmosphere and focusing students’ attention.Concentrating on the classroom and deepening reading comprehension;combining media with teaching may play an "ice-breaking" role in the current rigid teaching situation;finally,the article summarizes,the combination of media reading and teaching,new research results Outlook.
