Group reading guided by topics is a reading process,in which teachers and students collectively conduct a construction through discussion of the topics and finally reach a consensus in a group of selected texts.In group-reading teaching,the students' reading mode has changed from individual construction to collective construction,from a single fixed to multiple interactions,and from one-way indoctrination to communication and sharing.This is not only an effective method to improve students' reading interest and teachers' teaching effectiveness,but also the meaning of the core literacy of Chinese.The new reading teaching method has been quite mature and is rapidly promoted especially in the elementary school because of the theory explanation by Taiwan scholars Zhao Jingzhong,Wu Miner and the teaching practice of many front-line teachers such as Jiang Junjing,a well-known teacher in China,but it is rarely studied in high school.Even if it is involved,there are more or less some problems and deficiencies.There are several reasons for this.On one hand,there are relatively few successful experiences that can be used for reference.On the other hand,it is due to the subjective pressure of the college entrance examination and the lack of courage and perseverance to try new things.Therefore,this study,which is based on the high school Chinese reading teaching and aims at the current situation and problems of reading teaching,takes "news reading teaching" as an example to carry out research,hoping to improve the current situation of high school Chinese reading teaching.Firstly,in order to find new breakthrough point for in-depth research,this article expounds the related theories of group-reading,combs the efforts of the predecessors in the teaching of group-reading,and compares the current research situation by using the literature method,questionnaire survey method and case analysis method.Secondly,the article focuses on the high school teachers' handling of Chinese reading materials,their understanding of group-reading teaching,students' expectation of reading teaching and the current problems through the sampling survey,and then demonstrates the feasibility of group-reading teaching in theory and practice.Finally,we carry out the group-reading teaching by combining the example of "analyzing the angle of news narration"(taking a lesson?Auschwitz has no news?as an example),and make a comparative analysis with the traditional teaching mode to draw the following conclusions.1.Group-reading teaching can moderately improve students' performance in Chinese news teaching of senior high school.2.Group-reading teaching is effective in Chinese news teaching of senior high school.3.Group-reading teaching can improve students' enthusiasm for learning.4.Group-reading teaching can help students to improve the accuracy of answering questions.
