Since the Fine Arts Curriculum Standards for Ordinary Senior High Schools(2017 Edition)put forward the core accomplishment of Fine Arts,teachers have attached great importance to the cultivation of students' "cultural understanding",which is due to the fact that senior high school students are the key carriers of the inheritance and development of Chinese culture and art appreciation courses are an important way for students to understand Chinese traditional culture intuitively.Therefore,teachers need to continuously explore and research,guide students to take the initiative to use different ways of appreciation to understand the teaching strategies of works of art under different cultural backgrounds,enhance the understanding and recognition of the excellent traditional Chinese culture,establish cultural self-confidence,form correct values,enhance students' inner cohesion and unity consciousness,and truly achieve the goal of establishing morals and cultivating people.In this regard,the author takes the appreciation of traditional Chinese and Western painting as an example to explore the effective teaching strategies of cultivating students' "cultural understanding".There are six parts in this paper.The first part is the introduction,which mainly explains the background,significance and the current research situation at home and abroad.The second part is to define the key concepts involved in this paper,sort out the close relationship between them,clarify the theoretical basis of cultivating "cultural understanding" literacy.The third part is the investigation of the current situation of the fine arts curriculum in five senior high schools in the author's practice area.In the fourth part,the author puts forward three effective teaching strategies according to the results of the investigation: the first part is based on the teachers' "teaching" and the teachers' own cultural quality.The second section,is under the teaching strategy,to teacher's construction.In the fifth part,the author designs the teaching cases and practices according to the teaching strategies put forward by the author,which is carried out in the form of unit teaching.The sixth part is the conclusion,which is the reflection and prospect of the art teaching.It needs countless art workers to study the theory and practice.I hope this paper can provide some reference value for art teachers and researchers.
