The spirit of Dabie Mountain is an essential section in the spiritual scores of CPC,which is a precious treasure the revolutionary martyrs left.General Secretary Xi Jinping emphasized the necessity to "consciously accept red tradition education" during his inspection in Henan in September 2019.As an excellent revolutionary culture,the Dabie Mountain Red Culture has high theoretical and practical significance for high school Civics classes.The study explores the connotation and educational value of the spirit of Dabie Mountain,and the innovative ways of integrating the spirit of Dabie Mountain into high school Civics and Political Science classes according to the requirements of the core literacy of the subject in high school Civics and Political Science.The study takes the Dabie Mountain Spirit,one of the spiritual genealogies of the Communist Party of China,as the basis and takes the high school Civics classroom as the research object,and summarizes ideas for integrating the Dabie Mountain Spirit into the high school Civics classroom by tracing the origin and development of the Dabie Mountain Spirit,sorting out the scientific connotation of the Dabie Mountain Spirit,and bringing into play the value-oriented role of the Dabie Mountain Spirit,.This paper consists of five chapters.Chapter 1,the introduction covers the research background,meaning and value of the thesis.Chapter 2 expounds the deep connotation and epochal significance of the Dabie Mountain Spirit.Firstly,it elaborates on the formation and development of the Dabie Mountain Spirit,defining the scope of the Dabie Mountain region as well as the socio-political-economic and cultural background,and then discusses the historical development process of the Dabie Mountain Spirit as a whole with the help of a combination of historical and theoretical approaches and four key historical points.Secondly,the scientific connotations of the Dabie Mountain Spirit are collated and summarized,and the contemporary significance of the study of the Dabie Mountain Spirit is discussed to establish the theoretical basis for subsequent research.Chapter 3 analyses the value of integrating the spirit of Dabie Mountain into high school Civics classes.The combination of Dabie Mountain spirit and high school ideological and political lessons is of great significance to enrich high school ideological and political education resources,cultivate high school students' values and carry out history education.Chapter 4 discusses the problems of integrating the spirit of Dabie Mountain into senior high school Civic Studies classes,and analyses the problems with the aim of providing targeted solutions for subsequent countermeasure research.Chapter 5 presents the countermeasures for the integration of the spirit of Dabie Mountain into senior secondary school Civics and Political Science classes,proposing constructive suggestions for the integration of the spirit of Dabie Mountain into senior secondary school Civics and Political Science classes from four aspects: clarifying teaching principles,providing institutional protection,playing a leading role in schools,and strengthening the overall construction of the curriculum.
