With the promulgation of the new curriculum standards in 2017,a new round of curriculum reform has been launched.The new teaching materials of the 2019 People's Education Edition A(hereinafter referred to as "new teaching materials")that implement the new curriculum standards have been put into use nationwide.The new textbook has changed significantly from the old textbook.Due to the short time of the usage of the textbook,it is still unclear of effect.Therefore,it is necessary to grasp the views and use of new textbooks by current teachers and students since the use of new textbooks,and to provide valuable references for teachers and students to use and textbook writer,so as to optimize the use of new textbooks.Based on the research of relevant literature,this paper mainly uses questionnaire survey method,supplemented by interview method and classroom observation,to investigate the situation of high school teachers and students using new teaching materials in Harbin.Questionnaires were distributed to teachers and students to investigate teachers' frequency and familiarity with the new curriculum standards,satisfaction with and specific use of new textbooks,and survey students' satisfaction with and use of new textbooks.Finally,the collected data are statistically analyzed,combined with classroom observations and interviews results the following conclusions are therefore obtained:(1)From the teacher's perspective: teachers have a high level of understanding and using of the new curriculum standards,but the research is not in-depth enough;The overall satisfaction of teachers with the new textbooks is higher,and the setting of each column is satisfactory,but the use rate of individual columns is not high;Some teachers report that after using the new textbooks,the depth of explanation of some of the changes is not easy to grasp.(2)From the student's perspective: Students are satisfied with the overall satisfaction of the new textbooks and are satisfied with the setting of the textbook columns;The overall use rate of the new textbooks is average,they preferring to rely on teaching and auxiliary materials;Near half students think that the teacher's teaching progress is faster and the learning task is heavy;And some students have superficial phenomena in the use of some columns in the new textbooks,such as "inquiry" and "thinking"According to the survey results,the following attribution analysis are made for the problems observed during the usage of the new teaching materials:(1)The reasons for students not making full use of teaching materials are as follows: students do not fully understand the role of teaching materials.Influenced by the current learning atmosphere and insufficient guiding of the teachers,supplementary teaching materials almost replaced the role of teaching materials.(2)The reasons for the insufficient use of teaching materials by teachers are as follows: teachers' research on the content changes of teaching materials is not thorough;Due to the high tension of actual teaching tasks and the pressure of entrance examination,teachers cannot make full use of the content of the teaching materials,some content designs are difficult to implement.According to the attribution analysis,the following suggestions are made:(1)In terms of students' use: to make them fully understand the role of teaching materials and improve the use of teaching materials;Limit the use of supplementary teaching materials and play their auxiliary roles correctly;Analyze the problems raised by teaching materials and learn to think independently;Read the content of the textbook and try to ask questions;Pay attention to the appropriate learning method.(2)In terms of teachers' use: pay attention to studying the curriculum standards;Pay attention to the changes in teaching materials;Pay attention to the teaching of mathematical modeling content;Pay attention to the role of each section in the new teaching materials;make full use of the "questions" in the teaching materials.
