With the rapid development of mass media,media literacy education has received extensive attention.At present,many countries in the world have incorporated media literacy education into the curriculum system of primary and secondary schools,aiming to systematically and comprehensively cultivate students' media literacy and enable them to adapt to the characteristics of the current digital era.China also recognizes the importance and necessity of media literacy education.Many domestic scholars have discussed and explored the theory and practice of media literacy education,but have not yet carried out systematic media literacy education courses.This study takes the development and implementation of school-based curriculum of media literacy education in rural middle schools as the theme,and selects J school in L Province as the research object.This study is based on the curriculum development model proposed by Taylor,combined with the actual characteristics of schools,to develop and implement the school-based curriculum of media literacy education in rural middle schools.Firstly,this study investigates and analyzes the school environment and students' needs.In terms of curriculum objective design,the school-based curriculum objective of media literacy education in rural middle schools is designed based on Taylor's curriculum objective design basis and the expression method of three-dimensional objective in China's new curriculum concept.In the course content design,put forward the general principle of school-based curriculum design,and according to this principle,combined with the reality of media literacy education of middle school students,design and implement the school-based curriculum content of media literacy education of rural middle school.Evaluation.Through the summary and reflection of the research,it is found that the course can effectively improve students' interest in media.Students can master the basic knowledge of media,use the knowledge to complete the work of media literacy,and combine the media knowledge learned in class with their own media literacy.The curriculum evaluation results verify the effectiveness of the development and implementation of school-based curriculum of media literacy education in rural middle schools in this study.
