In order to adapt to the new curriculum reform and the requirements of today's society to cultivate innovative talents,various teaching models have emerged,and the "five-step progress" is one of them.Its basic thinking is to make students become a classroom center to meet the needs of students at all levels.Start from cultivating well-rounded people,Arouse students' interest in learning,let the students learn to learn independently,cooperative inquiry,induction and innovation,develop good thinking quality and Learning habits,so that each student can develop capabilities and master knowledge under the guidance of teachers,and fully reflect the dominant position.During this process,the role of teachers in teaching activities has also undergone qualitative changes,from the previous "leading role" to now "supporting role".This paper mainly introduces the theory of "five-step progress" and the practice of mathematics teaching in junior middle school.First,the paper introduces the background of the topic,and the research process and current situation of "five-step step method" at home and abroad,the teaching mode of "five-step progress" is obtained through comparative analysis.Secondly,before and after the implementation,through questionnaire,interview and comparison,analysis and research on students' examination results,the teaching model has been obtained in the advantages of students' development,learning habits,and learning skills and the deficiencies.And put forward reasonable teaching suggestions.
