Primary school is the initial stage of basic education,which lays the foundation for students' whole learning career.As an important part of basic education teachers,primary school teachers undertake the important task of teaching and educating people.Therefore,the professional development level of primary school teachers is the guarantee to improve the quality of basic education.In the process of the new curriculum reform,the introduction of many new educational concepts puts forward high standards and new challenges to the quality of primary school teachers.They should not only impart knowledge,but also explore knowledge,develop and utilize learning resources,and become a model of lifelong learning.This requires primary school teachers to continue to learn,find the driving force for development,and consciously take the initiative to improve their own literacy.Primary school teachers are the main body of cultivating people.They should constantly seek professional development and promote their professional development in a variety of ways,such as on-the-job training,expert guidance,subject study and so on.Reading,as one of the ways of primary school teachers' autonomous learning,should be combined with these ways of professional development to play a common role and provide them with continuous motivation.Therefore,reading should attract the attention of primary school teachers,who can renew their educational ideas,improve their knowledge structure and enhance their professional ability by reading unremittingly.The main problem of this thesis is to explore the experience and enlightenment of primary school teachers in promoting their professional development through reading.The professional development experience of primary school teachers is authentic and rich,which coincides with the method of educational narrative research.therefore,this study uses the research method of educational narrative to describe the reading experience and experience of primary school backbone teachers in education and teaching practice,and to explain their reading behavior and professional development process.In order to better answer the above questions,the author chooses three representative primary school teachers to go deep into their daily teachers' professional life and conduct educational narrative research on their reading and their professional development.Through a large number of interviews,this paper describes the process of their professional growth by telling stories,and discusses the important role of reading to teachers' professional development from these practical cases of teachers' professional life.First of all,the author listens and thinks from the three dimensions of teachers' professional quality structure,and analyzes the important role of reading to primary school teachers in accumulating professional knowledge,improving teaching ability and educational research ability,updating educational ideas and so on.According to the needs of this study,according to Ye Lan's five-stage theory of teacher growth,the author probes into the professional development of three primary school teachers and describes their successful development from the stage of "survival concern" to the stage of "task concern".And then to the "self-renewal concern" stage,the role of reading in it.Secondly,this study adopts the method of educational narrative research,which is not intended to draw a universally applicable conclusion,but to get inspiration from the story.to seek reading measures that can be used for reference: cultivate primary school teachers' good reading habits,choose reading content suitable for primary school teachers,schools should improve primary school teachers' teaching level through reading,and improve primary school teachers' educational and scientific research ability through reading.The three primary school teachers in this study are all different subjects,and their professional development experiences are unique,from which they may not necessarily have something in common,but they must be enlightening.By narrating their stories,the author can arouse readers to participate in the interpretation of the stories,and they can also get more inspiration by reading the stories of the three teachers.
