With the continuous development of The Times,reading more and more important in the position in personal life and learning,among them,the whole book reading in primary schools has become especially important in the position,the trend of "extracurricular reading course" in recent years,more and more obvious,which department make edition of Chinese textbook in the "happy reading" one of the increase of the plate is its embodiment.The reading teaching of the whole book is carried out in each primary school section.Front-line Chinese teachers and education experts have carried out a series of educational explorations on the book.While some achievements have been made,some problems have also emerged.Therefore,in order to guide teachers' teaching behavior of reading the whole book in school in a more scientific and systematic way,we should continue to carry out teaching practice in this field and summarize relevant experience and practices,so as to enrich relevant research.This paper adopts literature method,questionnaire survey method,case analysis and other methods to carry out the research.It mainly includes four parts:The first part,mainly from the whole book reading teaching research value and significance of the explanation,through the literature survey method to sort out the current research status,to define the core concepts and distinguish several similar concepts.The second part is to conduct statistical analysis on the data of the current reading teaching status of the whole book through questionnaire survey with teachers and students of middle and high grades in primary schools.The survey involves five dimensions: concept,teaching environment,teaching content,teaching method and teaching evaluation.The third part analyzes the problems existing in the implementation of reading teaching of the whole book based on the data obtained from the questionnaire.The main problems are not thorough understanding of the teaching concept of reading the whole book,lack of adequate guarantee of students' good reading environment and teachers' teaching environment,single list of books for teachers to guide students to read the whole book,poor reading methods for teachers to guide students to read the whole book,and single reading evaluation of the whole book.In view of the above five aspects of the problem,summarized and analyzed its reasons.The fourth part is aimed at the current problems and causes and combined with teaching cases to put forward optimization strategies.Specifically,it includes five aspects: deepening teachers' understanding of the whole book reading teaching concept,creating a good atmosphere for the whole book reading by school and family,selecting the teaching content of the whole book reading,strengthening teachers' guidance for the whole book reading activity,and carrying out targeted evaluation of the whole book reading teaching.
