As an important part of the mathematics textbook,exercises play an important role in the teaching and learning of teachers and students.The textbook exercises are finally compiled by many experts,scholars and frontline teachers after repeated discussions,reflecting the spirit of the national basic education curriculum standards,emphasizing the application of knowledge,skills and thinking methods in real life,and meeting the diverse learning needs of students.In the actual teaching process,both teachers and students have some problems in the use of textbook exercises,so that they can not play the function and value of teaching exercises.Therefore,this article investigates and studies the characteristics of the second-stage mathematics textbook exercises and the status quo of teaching application of the Beijing Normal University edition.Using the methods of literature,content analysis,questionnaire,classroom observation and interview,this paper focuses on two aspects:(1)investigate the current situation of teachers and students using the exercises in the mathematics textbook of the second stage of primary school published by Beijing Normal University;(2)This paper analyzes the problems of teachers and students using the exercises in the second phase of primary school mathematics textbook published by Beijing Normal University,and puts forward some directional improvement suggestions.The research conclusions are as follows:(1)Problems in the use of textbook exercises by teachers and students: teachers and students do not have a profound cognitive effect on textbook exercises;Teachers and students' use of textbook exercises is not ideal;Teachers' evaluation of textbook exercises is not in place.(2)suggestions for improving the use of textbook exercises by teachers and students: teachers and students should improve their cognitive level of textbook exercises;Teachers and students pay attention to improving the use strategies of teaching materials and exercises;Teachers should implement the evaluation of textbook exercises.
