Textbooks are an important carrier for teachers to teach,and exercises are an important part of textbooks.In the whole teaching activities,the reasonable selection and use of textbook exercises is conducive to improving the teaching quality of teachers and improving the learning effect of students.This article takes all the mathematics textbook exercises of grade 4-6 as the research object,according to the analysis framework to carry out quantitative statistics and analysis of the exercises,aiming to discover the writing characteristics of the second-stage mathematics textbook exercises,so as to make use of the characteristics of the exercises for frontline teachers Provide reference suggestions for teaching.There are few systematic researches on textbook exercises.This article chooses the authoritative Mathematics textbook published by People's Education Press for research.First,the analysis framework of exercises is designed,including the surface structure and deep structure,and each category is elaborated and illustrated by examples;then the exercise samples are classified and counted according to the analysis framework,and quantitative description and qualitative analysis are made;finally,the article of the People's Education Edition is excavated.The writing characteristics of the second-stage mathematics textbook exercises.By summarizing and analyzing the statistical data,it is found that the main characteristics of the surface structure and deep structure are as follows:(1)the number distribution gap is very small,and the number of questions in the field of number and algebra is the largest;(2)the types are rich and diverse,and the proportion of Applied questions is the largest;(3)the presentation method is novel and lively,focusing on both graphics and text;(4)the proportion of open exercises is relatively small,focusing on the arrangement of conclusion open exercises;(5)illustrations are rich There is a lack of life atmosphere and illustrations of historical materials;(6)pay attention to the understanding and application of knowledge,and the development of inquiry ability is relatively weak;(7)tend to choose life-oriented materials,and less equipped with scientific situational materials;(8)pay attention to the development of operation ability,and gradually improve the symbolic operation ability;(9)a large number of exercises have no reasoning steps,and the cultivation of reasoning ability is relatively ignored;(10)the comprehensive degree of knowledge is single First,the development of the ability of comprehensive use of knowledge is relatively lacking.Then summarize the current situation of writing the second-stage exercises: 1.The knowledge layout tends to be basic and systematic;2.The content selection presents life and reality;3.The presentation mode expresses readability and intuitiveness;4.Skill training is developmental and hierarchical;5.the question type arrangement pays attention to richness and diversity.Based on the present situation of the compilation of exercises in the second learning section textbook of the PEP edition,the following suggestions are put forward for front-line teachers to make better use of the characteristics of exercises in teaching:flexibly arrange the number of exercises to improve students' learning effect;Reasonable arrangement of exercise types,comprehensive examination of learning results;Fully understand the function of illustration and develop the skills of illustration application;Enrich the material selection background of exercises,broaden the knowledge capacity of students;Design comprehensive and practical activities to accumulate experience in mathematical activities;Give full play to the open role of exercises and promote students to explore independently.
