National identity refers to the people's sense of psychological belonging and identity,as a member of the national community,cultural community and political community.They love and carry forward their own traditional culture,identify with their own political system and leaders,and recognize,care for and safeguard the country.This study holds that the national identity of senior high school students mainly includes five aspects: motherland identity,national citizenship identity,political identity and historical identity.At present,the World is in the torrent of economic globalization,political multi-polarization and cultural diversity.The values of Chinese high school students,especially the identification of national identity,have been inevitably impacted.High school students are the future and hope of the country and the main force to realize the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation and China's second Centennial goal.Their recognition of the county is related to China's future.In order to deeply understand the current situation of national identity education in senior high schools,this study adopts the main forms of literature analysis and questionnaire survey.Through investigation and sampling,we can find a few fundamental information on senior high school students,including their national identity and their national identity education condition at present,and finally obtain five dimensions and 15 indicators of national identity.Then,according to the indicators,we use SPSS to analyze the variance and correlation of senior high school Students' national identity.The results show that senior high school students have a good sense of national identity: in contrast,senior high school students' national identity behavior is poor,among which senior high school students' political identity needs to be paid special attention to and strengthened.The senior high school students' national identity education needs to be deepened and strengthened.High school students' political outlook has a significant impact on their national identity.The national identity education of senior high school students is a complex and long process.The national identity education of senior high school students should be based on reality,China's current political,economic and cultural background,the growth characteristics that students have and show during their stay in senior high,and combined with China's senior high school education characteristics to determine the educational content,adopt corresponding strategies and paths to carry out national identity education for senior high school students.For the content of national identity education for senior high school students,we should strengthen motherland identity through national sovereignty education and national symbol education;strengthen civil identity through practical education;strengthen political identity through political education;strengthen cultural identity through traditional cultural education;strengthen historical identity through historical education.The government,society,school and teachers should play an important role in educational strategies and paths and adopt various forms of national identity education,achieving the combination of explicit education and implicit education,theoretical education and practical education,unity and diversity;What's more,we should improve the quality of teachers and students and rely on new media to carry out national identity education for high school students.
