The National Identity of adolescents is not only related to their own quality development,but also to the construction of socialism with Chinese characteristics.In September 2016,the National Identity was one of the 18 basic points for the development of core literacy for middle school students and was included in the field of secondary school teaching and research.However,there is no monograph on the issue of National Identity in junior high school history teaching.This paper explores the cultivation of National Identity from the perspective of junior high school history teaching.This article is divided into three parts:First,the status of National Identity of junior high school students.The author adopts the questionnaire survey of students and the form of teacher interviews to investigate the implementation of National Identity training in the field of junior high school history teaching,and finds that the National Identity concept of junior high school students is very weak.The reasons for the weak National Identity of students are complex,such as society,family and schools.The lack of attention of teachers is one of the important factors.The second is history teaching advice.This article lists six suggestions: in the process of history teaching,we should pay attention to the right of the historically oriented discourse,adhere to the narrative stance of the Chinese nation,pay attention to the combination of grand narrative and micro narrative,use the concept of time and space to construct spatial imagination,attach importance to cultural symbols to construct cultural identity,and use local resources to enhance emotional resonance.The third is a case study.This part adopts the 2017 eighth grade history textbook “Long March of Workers and Peasants Red Army”,with the National Identity training as the center,carrying out teaching design and practice,and exploring its feasibility.The junior high school stage is a crucial period for the formation of adolescents' world outlook,outlook on life and values.The formation of a good National Identityin the junior high school can not only benefit students for life,but also achieve the goal of developing core literacy for middle school students.The purpose of this paper is to promote the research on the cultivation of National Identity in the history teaching of junior high school,to implement the core literacy of the development of middle school students,and to promote the history teaching of junior high school.
