The concept of “experience” not only exists in Dewey's philosophical thoughts,but also in his aesthetic thoughts.Exploring the concept of “experience” is of great significance for in-depth exploration of Dewey's philosophical and aesthetic thoughts.The aesthetic theory centered on the “experience” dimension can provide us with a unique way to understand Dewey's educational thoughts.Revealing the current educational phenomenon in my country from the perspective of Dewey's “aesthetic experience” has guiding and enlightening significance for the promotion of aesthetic education in the education of primary and middle school students in my country.In aesthetic education,the cultivation of primary and secondary school students' aesthetic literacy is a link that cannot be ignored.Cultivating students to form correct aesthetic emotional values,forming the ability to feel beauty,appreciate beauty,and create beauty plays an important role in the healthy growth of primary and secondary school students.However,in the course of practice,there is a certain gap between the implementation concept and the actual effect in the cultivation of students' aesthetic literacy by aesthetic education.Supported by Dewey's empirical aesthetics theory,through Dewey's “experience” perspective,it provides a new understanding of the aesthetic education philosophy and practice of primary and middle school students.The main problem of this article is to take Dewey's empirical aesthetics as the theoretical basis,analyze the characteristics of the concept of “experience” in Dewey's empirical aesthetics,and combine it with aesthetic literacy,so as to provide practical strategies for the cultivation of aesthetic literacy of our Chinese primary and middle school students.This article summarizes the three factors of initiative,emotion and integrity,which co-exist in aesthetic experience and aesthetic quality.Later,by analyzing the current problems in the process of cultivating the aesthetic literacy of primary and middle school students,we found that in aesthetic education,there are passive acceptance,lack of emotional influence,and the lack of systemic literacy training in the aesthetic education of primary and secondary school students.In response to this situation,the theoretical perspective of this research on aesthetic experience demonstrates its value in the cultivation of primary and secondary school students' aesthetic literacy,and proposes cultivation strategies: multiple ways to cultivate students' positive and healthy aesthetic emotions,multiple ways to cultivate students' appreciation and appreciation of beauty Ability and multiple carriers cultivate students' ability to express and create beauty.Dewey's empirical aesthetics has a special value in the cultivation of primary and secondary school students' aesthetic literacy.
