The 2019 edition of the textbook,as the direct embodiment and concept carrier of the “General High School Chemistry Curriculum Standard(2017Edition 2020 Revision)”,provides a tool for teachers to “teach” and students to“learn”.In addition,the constant updating of textbooks also means that the depth of curriculum reform in China is increasing.In several new textbooks,sodium and chlorine are studied together,using sodium--typically a metal element--and chlorine--typically a nonmetal element--to help students develop a basic idea for studying chemicals.Therefore,this paper makes a comparative analysis of the knowledge of “sodium,chlorine and their Compounds” in the chemistry textbooks of People's Education Edition 2019 and Luke Edition 2019,and puts forward some suggestions for front-line chemistry teachers to use the textbooks while analyzing the characteristics of the textbooks of each edition.First of all,starting from the teaching material of the overall layout and concrete presentation perspective,subdivided into downward from the selection of the contents of the overall layout,knowledge,choreography and writing ideas and specific columns,charts,problem sets and implementation of the activity of seven angle using text analysis and comparative research,this paper compared and analyzed both version teaching material has its own characteristics.(1)In terms of content selection,both People's Education Edition and Luke Edition select knowledge points on the basis of meeting the content requirements of the new curriculum standard.The number is basically the same,but the extension and expansion of knowledge points are different.People's Education Edition of the theoretical knowledge is more concentrated.In Luke Edition,knowledge points are closely related to the reality of life,and practice is better.(2)In terms of knowledge arrangement,both the People's Education Edition and the Luke Edition put the knowledge of “sodium and chlorine and their compounds” in front of each other for learning.In addition,this part of knowledge and “quantity of matter” are arranged in one chapter.The difference is that the People's Education Edition puts this part of the knowledge after the REDOX reaction,while the Luke Edition puts it before the REDOX reaction.(3)In terms of writing ideas,the two have also arranged the idea of “from sodium to chlorine--with the guidance of teachers and students trying to learn by themselves”,but the difference is that the two ideas are different.The People's Education Edition tends to be systematic,while The Luke Edition focuses on inquiry.(4)In terms of column setting,the two editions of textbooks meet the principles of textbook compilation in the new curriculum standard,and are arranged from the perspective of facilitating students' learning and improving students' interest.There are many kinds and numbers of relevant columns,and each edition of textbooks has its own special columns.(5)In the picture,both the People's Education Edition and the Luke Edition attach great importance to the selection and arrangement of pictures,involving many knowledge points.On the table,the number of Luke Edition is large,and the type of human edition is large.(6)In exercises,People's Education Edition and Luke Edition are strictly in accordance with the requirements of the new curriculum standards related exercises design,design a lot of composite questions.The People's Education Edition pays more attention to the design of hierarchical and situational exercises,while the Luke Edition is better in the design of open exercises.(7)In terms of experimental activities,the number and types of experimental activities in The Luke Edition are more than those in the human education edition.Secondly,based on the results of text analysis,this study designed a questionnaire to investigate the front-line chemistry teachers who used the new PEP edition and the new Luke Edition of high school chemistry textbooks,so as to understand the teachers' understanding of the new textbooks and their views on the integrated use of textbooks.Finally,the characteristics and differences of the two editions of the textbook are summarized,and according to the text analysis and survey results,objective suggestions for the use of new textbooks from multiple perspectives are put forward.
