Textbook is the core of the courses, the tool of directing the teaching and sparking the discussion. It should not only keep pace with the development of the society and the students'life, but also help them to understand what they have learned better. The excellent textbook should merge from the competition, must adapt to the development of the teaching contents and methods. The interpretation of the basic concepts and rules should be fully complexion of the clearance, understanding, science, acceptance, heritage, forcast and interest. The textbook should build the base of the principle of the teaching to keep the material repeatable and systemic and promote the student's studying.Through the comparison of the chemistry textbook during the senior high school period between Taiwan and Jiangsu province, this thesis makes some research on the difference among the teaching theory, the writing main-road, the material choice, the writing method at the different background and different regions. This thesis helps to understand the editing method of teaching material, the editing regulation and evaluation system. Through the comparison, this thesis finds the feature of these two textbook versions. With the survey of the feedback of the Jiangsu version textbook, it gives out some usage suggestions.
